Hi Everyone I'm fairly new to the forum, but I had the pleasure of meeting some of you at Hayley's Canterbury Cathedral concert only a few weeks ago. With the help of Roger (who made my forum for me) I've set up a webpage, and a forum for everyone to see. I hope everyone likes it and has a look around. The website is: www.freewebs.com/elizabethelming I'm new to making websites but I tried my best! There's a link on the website to my forum, as well as my myspace page. I hope to see everyone again at a future concert! -Elizabeth p.s. Thanks again Roger for all of your help!!

Thanks Elizabeth and good luck with your site. More importantly, good luck with your singing career.
Yes folks, we have another very talented singer in our midst! Take a listen to some of the sound clips on her website and I think you might be impressed. I certainly am.
Roger

Hello Elizabeth!! I just visited your site! It's really nice, as are the pictures - and the music! You really have a great voice, and your own singing style which is cool. All the best wishes to you! Let us know if you put more clips on there! Hugs, Tashi P.S I'm going to send you a request on MySpace!

Hi Elizabeth Love your web site - especially the way you've depicted the home page as a torn off book cover - it looks great! Not sure why, but I haven't been able to listen to the song clips - I'll try again later. Anyway, best of luck with your singing. Grant P.S. has the book arrived yet?

Congratulations Elizabeth! You have a very nice website there, and I enjoyed looking at the photographs and listening to the clips. You have a beautiful voice, and I must ask, who's playing the piano? I shall be watching your singing career with great interest. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

Hey Elizabeth! I really like your website. You did a wonderful job with it. I really enjoyed listening to your clips. I believe I'm already a friend of yours on myspace, and what a wonderful friend to have. Yes I am curious like Richard, who is playing the piano? Also, who are you duetting with on "Evening Prayer"? They've also got a gorgeous voice. <3 Caite

Hi Elizabeth
If no one has said it already, welcome to the forum ! I also like your website. For some reason though, I haven't managed to listen to your song clips. Perhaps I am doing something wrong ! I will keep trying as I would like to hear you. May I wish you all the best with your singing.
Best wishes Mark

Thanks for all the nice comments!! I'm not sure what's going on with the song clips... that's really weird. For "evening prayer" I'm duetting with my friend Catherine- I got to sing in the Canadian Opea Company at home in Toronto, Canada, and that was recorded during a performance of the opera Hansel and Gretel. I was Hansel and catherine was gretel. I do play piano, however its not me playing on the recordings. It's a man that I worked with in a couple of musical theatre shows- his name is steve! I'll double check the song clips to see what's up!- thanks again for looking at my site -Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,
I don't know what this proves, but I played all of your song clips without any difficulty. That suggests there is nothing wrong at your end... doesn't it, guys?

Roger Just a thought, as it is the mistake I made initially thinking i was experiencing the same problem, is the sound on your PC 'on', or your headphones plugged in. I had my laptop sound switch off and then suddenly realised and heard without a problem. We all do it at some time! eter S.

Hi Grant- I just saw your question at the bottom of your last post- My book did arrive and I've actually finished it already! It was really interesting to read about how Hayley got her record deal, and about her early years singing in New Zealand. If I get to meet her again, maybe I'll ask her to sign it for me. Thanks again for showing me where to buy it! -Elizabeth

I didn't know it existed before then! Having already had a CD signed, I popped next door to Waterstones (at 10pm!!) to get a copy and then went back to the concert venue to get it signed. When I told hayley I'd just bought it, she simply said "Cool!" That's one of my earliest (and best) memories of Hayley. God Bless Grant

I had forgotten who had the problem but I thought the observation was worth making in case others repeated it or had the same problem. Peter
