Has anyone else listening to Alfie Boes debut album? Its brilliant! If you haven't heard of him yet his official site address is www.AlfieBoe.comor his official fansite www.AlfieBoeUK.com. I've just had a birthday (yes 21 again!) and ended up with four copies of the album as presents, just as well I LIKED IT!

Hi Terri! That's what you get for telling everyone that you like a particular singer! Roger

Why I've found another connection of Alfie's to our dear Hayley! I was looking through our CD collection this morning and I found "Sleigh Ride" The Boston Pops Orchestra's CD. I purchased this CD for my mom when they came to St. Paul. And guess who was with them then? That's right, Hayley!
But what does this have to do with Alfie? Well, I was looking at the track listing and whose name do I see but Alfred Boe! I open the booklet inside and find his biography and a picture, it's the one and the same Alfie that Hayley has just sung with!
Alfie sings O Holy Night and has a solo in 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Just thought it was a neat little connection! <3 Caite

Thanks, Richard.
I thought there was an Alfie Boe thread somewhere. Obviously I didn't go back far enough.
Regards,
Gerrit

Hi all, I watched the Last Night of the Proms on BBC - in Holland only events at the Royal Albert Hall were shown, with a highlight from each of the Proms in the Park at the interval. My personal favourite was the duet of Alfie Boe and Rebecca Evans, Brindisi (also known as Libiamo or the Drinking Song), from Swansea. Here is a link to the video I uploaded: www.classicalrelatedperformances.com/tenors/brindisi130908.wmvGerrit
