Hi all! The release date for Kelly's album has now been moved to Feb 16.  However, her webiste has been completely redesigned and you can hear samples of all the songs to be on the album. I loved Giorno Dopo Giorno, which has unfortunately been taken off the music player. I also like the video for Raincoat -- it's so uplifting and sunny. Will be purchasing some songs from the album. For those of you in the US you can purchase an EP on Yahoo! Music. Just search for Kelly Sweet in Yahoo music. I'm not sure how much longer they'll be for sale though! Oh yes, and if you go to www.kelly-sweet.com/music.php you can hear 30 second clips from all her songs! <3 Caite |

Thanks for posting the link Jon! I can't decide which video I like better. There's a better story in the new video, but there was more character in the first. This post has been moved from a duplicate thread. Kelly Sweet is a young American classical crossover singer, with a very soft, lovely voice. She sings in high notes too, but not the way Hayley does. Her voice is clearly different, but is still very beautiful. You can definitely hear emotion in her voice. In fact, in some songs the drama of the music and emotion of her voice is what makes it so wonderful.
Her debut album, "We Are One", was released in 2007. My favorite songs on the album are Giorno Dopo Giorno, Ready to Love, Dream On, Je Taime, Caresse Sur L'Ocean, Now We Are Free, and I Will Be Waiting (which she wrote). Giorno Dopo Giorno is amazing, and Ready to Love is very beautiful.
I discovered Kelly when I heard a very pretty version of "https://i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifream On" on the radio at work early last year. There was one part where her voice sounded almost as pure as Hayley's. So, I looked up the song, and discovered Kelly Sweet. I got her CD from the library, and I really liked a lot of the songs. I didn't get her album until Christmas, though.
