Is this the guy that sang a duet with Katherine on the limited edition CD? Because I thought he had a beautiful voice. I searched for him on Amazon but there wasn't anything. x x

here is a little something on him.
Vittorio Grigolo
If you think Il Divo and G4 were big this year, that's because Vittorio Grigolo hasn't taken centre stage yet. The 28-year-old's name may be a mouthful to pronounce but his voice is simply breath-taking.
The operatic Orlando Bloom look-alike is hoping to bring even more classical to the mainstream with his debut album, In The Hands Of Love, with an ingenious cover of Keane's Bedshaped and an emotional version of Stevie Wonder's All In Love Is Fair. A single and the album are expected out in March.

GMTV interview & Tu Sei (5m 46s, 370 kbps, 15.4 MB) TV album advert! (1m 00s, 350 kbps, 2.6 MB) I agree that this guy will be big. He's certainly getting a lot of promo and hype at the moment (both necessary for "instant" stardom). He also brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "Il Divo reject"... and it might surprise some people to find out who rejected whom... Grab the videos folks... this guy can sing! Cheers, Dave

Hi Kimberly, it looks like Vittorio may go top 5 in Sunday's UK chart Russell Watson should do even better!!! There could be THREE classical crossover albums in the UK top 10 albums - if Andrea Bocelli is still in there! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI still don't have Sissel's album as no local shops are stocking it but I will order it by post if no-one has it locally by tomorrow. Great pictures Dave!!
Vittorio is a gorgeous boy with a gorgeous voice! And a very sweet personality too!! He sent me a PM when I joined his forum to say hello and posted a birthday message in my birthday thread!! Such a sweetheart!
Best of luck to him.

I should have mentioned it here earlier, but I have now also a download page at Classicalrelated for Vittorio: www.classicalrelatedperformances.com/vittoriogrigolo.htmIt currently has more than 20 videos, most of whom I have obtained via the official Vittorio Grigolo forum - usually in WMV format 640 x 480 (so the videos are quite large). Dave, I don't know if the videos you had on earlier in this thread are still on your hard drive, or if at least the GMTV video is the same one as the GMTV Tue Sei video on my page, but would it be possible to make them temporarily available again? You may be interested in the Classical Brits video (which I realise I have put on twice - Hayley is in view within seconds of the video starting.) Gerrit

I have just added a simply hilarious interview conducted on Dutch radio on May 15. The interviewer doesn't speak Italian, and Vittorio virtually no Dutch - so they communicate in English.
I think Vittorio gets the better of his interviewer on occasions - and interestingly, one part of the interview is about why he did not accept an invitation to join ... Il Divo!
I have also corrected the error of linking to the Classical Brits video twice on the page!

Gerrit Hi Gerrit, I keep everything on my hard drive(s) i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI have uploaded the video of the Grigolo advert again and will leave it there for a few days (scroll up the thread) or until you have it, feel free to host it. The GMTV video is essentially the same as the one you already have, the only differences are that mine is widescreen and was done at a lower bitrate, therefore the file is smaller (15 MB). Nice to see Hayley in your clip; when I quickly wound through my recording of the TV show, Hayley was shown five times from what I could see - and she was only a spectator! What I do not have is a video of Hayley's advert for the UK Odyssey special edition. From all acounts it was a nice advert but I NEVER saw it, not once! If you ever come across it, please tell me! Cheers, Dave
