Here's a video promoting the Sing Me an Angel DVD. He also announced today that he will be touring the US & Canada with this show later this year! I really hope he comes to Seattle! I do want him to come with Sarah on her US tour as well, but it would be wonderful if I could see his own show live!
Okay, so this wasn't posted by Mario himself, and I don't know how the person knows this, but I hope it's true:
It wouldn't let me embed the FB post, even though the link still exists, so I'll post it this way... okay, why won't the picture show? Oh well, the text is what's important.

Yes, I knew it was. But I thought it was strange yet interesting he would write that, probably without even knowing that song! I think he meant it more literally. A new day is dawning, as in, something new and exciting is in the works for him.
Yes, I did see it! I kept meaning to post it, but you know how sometimes you don't want to lose your place in social media, and you copy it, and then forget you copied it, and copy something else in its place? Yeah, that's why I haven't. There's a video of him singing the title song, which I haven't listened to yet, but I will soon and post it very soon.
I hope it's somewhere close, and not too complicated to travel to. The Orla concert in 2011 was at one of the theatres in Tacoma, WA, and my sister and I got just a tad lost in downtown Tacoma (my first time ever being in the downtown area), and parking was slightly difficult to find. We parked in some lot near some business buildings, and it wasn't the most comfortable of areas to walk back to at night. I remember she did not seem keen on going there again unless someone "important" like Hayley comes there! I hope Mario goes to the more familiar Paramount Theatre in Seattle, but since it's bigger than the Tacoma theatres, and I'm not sure how popular Mario is here, I'm not sure if he'd be there. Actually, going by his most recent appearance here, and this one, he could even be at an even smaller venue, like the Edmonds Performing Arts center, and my sister would likely be even less keen on that, since it's over an hour away. Well, I'll know soon, I hope! Well, if I have to go myself, I will, but hopefully I can convince her he's worth seeing live.
Here's the video! The song is actually Send Me an Angel, originally by the Scorpions. I think the Sing Me an Angel title was what he used for the Christmas concert. The video with that title at the top of his FB page is just clips of songs he sang for that tour last year.
Okay, I think I've figured it out. Sing Me an Angel is a show meant for PBS, recorded in Greece back in 2014, including special guest Sissel. It appears that it is intended for release on DVD at the end of this year! Good grief! So, I have to wonder if the concerts won't be later this year.
I listened to a radio interview he did in December for KCVaRts, and he mentioned something about "the summer tour", and he was referring to the future, not the past. So, if I get a concert at all, it sounds like it might be in the summer! My sister would be more likely to agree to going in the summer when she has less work, and there's not as much chance of being forced to commute in a downpour (which can happen between fall and spring... even late June, we occasionally get "monsoons")!
Here's a video of Mario singing Time to Say Goodbye, from 2007. I wasn't crazy about the choir's intro, and Mario was not flawless during the beginning phrases, but otherwise, superb! I mean, not quite Andrea's level of superb, but excellent, nonetheless.
