Hi George,
Thanks for the great pictures. Looks like you had a fabulous time in Dublin! I suppose there were mainly fans from the UK and US. Any fans from other countries? It would be interesting to see how 'famous' CW is in other parts of the world.

Hi again George, I don't know if you have seen it but there is a video of the girls singing 'O Holy Night' at Slane Castle HERE. Hayley should have been singing with them but it is gorgeous anyway Stephany

Thanks, Stephany!
That brings back memories from last Wednesday. That was one of my favourites from the Christmas Special. I had read somewhere that it was the only song recorded at Slane castle which did not end up on the DVD. Guess they felt the Christmassy theme was not in keeping with the rest of the show. Regarding your previous question, I think most of the audience was actually local from Ireland. The US fans were mostly with us and I didn't notice anyone else from the UK. Interestingly, both local taxi drivers we used there and back had never heard of Celtic Woman. There was also hardly any CD/DVD's in the local shops. It really is strange how they appear so well known in the USA but not in their own city. I think at least four are from Dublin and their families still live there!

Oh that's great Comet! It's like me in New York. I saw Chloe's sister Naomi and her mum at Barnes and Noble without realizing it - it was only that night after the concert at the after party when I saw them again with Chloe did I realize who they were. How I didn't know they were related is beyond me, Chloe and Naomi really look alike! I can't wait for the Christmas Special to come out! October, isn't it? <3 Caite

That's a wonderful video there Stephany, a beautiful performance by the girls, thanks for posting. "O Holy Night" is one of my personal favourite songs. (& one I must admit I'd love to sing myself! ) Best wishes all David

Yes David, Lovely to hear CW singing that. The Hymn "O Holy Night" is the power piece of Hayley's Christmas Presence Cardiff Concert. I absolutely love it, both music & lyrics. "Christ is The Lord" and "His Gospel is Peace" come to mind. A wonderful Hymn indeed. We have a DVD here which I made from the four clips Dave supplied us with last Christmas. Don't know how many times we've played it. The whole concert is marvelous in fact. I look upon it as a significant Hayley milestone. The idea was to be able to use the TV & DVD player to enjoy the Concert rather than PC only. Also a DVD can be taken to friends places. Graeme

Hello everyone. I was thumbing through the TV listings last night when I came across the Celtic Woman Christmas Concert on a local PBS TV station. I had never seen the show before, but I certainly heard about how magnificent it was. So, I tuned in and WOW! What a great show! The next time it's on, I'll have my recorder ready! This was the Dublin concert with Lisa, Orla, Mairead, Chloe and Meav. Every note that the girls sang and played was on perfect pitch. And the background singers and orchestra were fantastic. I love Christmas music and I've never heard the songs performed more beautifully! If you haven't seen the show, it's a must! Best, Gene

Hello Gene,
Glad that your local PBS station has aired the Celtic Woman Christmas concert already! My station begins its pledge drive on Friday and will air the concert on Saturday. It will also air about every other day for two weeks!
Here's the PBS description of the CW Xmas show: "Celtic Woman perform Yuletide songs at the Helix in Dublin, Ireland. Included: Silent Night, White Christmas, The First Noel, Let It Snow, Little Drummer Boy."
Cheers, Joe
