Stephany,
Congrats yet again. You are truly remarkable. Very well done!
Roger,
This is what I foresaw in my April 12 post (#43).

Hello Stephany and Grant, This sounds like it could fall under the category, "You know you're addicted to Hayley and HWI if".... Congratulations, Stephany (and Grant, who may reach 1000 before Christmas. just kidding, Grant!). Many thanks to the both of you for allowing the rest of us fans to catch up on the latest news without breaking a sweat. One question, Stephany...do your parents know you're quite "Hayley-addicted?" Keep up the good work guys! I have got to get a move on!! (Only 800-some posts to go!) Cheers, Eric P.S. Grant, you have my permission to pay me back later.

One question, Stephany...do your parents know you're quite "Hayley-addicted?" Errr...at the moment, my dad is somewhere in Asia for work (Korea or Taiwan, I'm not sure...) so he doesn't know anything about Hayley. But my mum watched the "Live in NZ" DVD with me. At the beginning, she was reading a magazine and told me "hey, shouldn't you be working instead of watching the TV ?". After a few songs, I turned my head out of curiosity and she had put down the mag !! She watched the entire show with me, haha. She liked her songs and particularly noticed how beautiful Hayley is - she told me "This young girl is absolutely gorgeous". So, in a word, YES my mum knows my recent "addiction" but she understands me so everything's fine. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

That word again. Is this the Chinese equivalent Stephany? Gorgeous (玻璃樽 Bor lei jun) .....from Wikipaedia. How does it translate? Graeme

Just want to congratulate Stephany on her 1000th post now ! My hi-speed internet is now no-speed so it's back to dial-up for a while. As if three days without internet was bad enough. Congrats Steph and best wishes, Joe

Hello graemek, I think someone has made a joke on wikipedia. 'Bor lei jun' is Cantonese (the Mandarin version doesn't use the word 'jun', Mandarin say 'ping') and it means glass bottle! It is difficult to translate gorgeous into Mandarin Chinese. I think when this word is used to describe Hayley, it means very beautfiul, so it can be 'hen2 mei3'. Oh, off topic. Congratulations Stephany and thank you for all the article you find and your translation of the Japanese article. Cheers, Raymond

Thanks again, everyone. I'm glad to be helpful. That word again. Is this the Chinese equivalent Stephany? Gorgeous (玻璃樽 Bor lei jun) .....from Wikipaedia. How does it translate? Graeme My Chinese isn't very good, I can only say a few things, haha. Write it is even harder and I'm sure Raymond agrees. In Japanese, gorgeous would be and pronounced "Kareina".

Hi Raymond, hi Stephany, Hmmmm.... 'glass bottle' may have something but is a bit too general. It needs something like: ' Sparkling Exquisitely Formed Champagne Bottle' to be convincing. Graeme Interesting about Kareina. Karina in a few different spellings is a popular girls name where I live. It wouldn't surprise me if the Japanese word was behind that name. And to resume the thread topic : Congrats.Stephy
