Hello everyone, Well the date changed but this did happen - on Sunday 17th December. It was an absolutely gorgeous prerecorded performance of Salve Regina and you can find all the details and links over at the AAI forum here. Do not miss this! Cheers, Dave

Is it just me or are All Angels' harmonies more delicious with each listening? It's almost scary how beautiful they sound together.

Hi Steve, No, it isn't just you who is "suffering" from this delightful symptom; it is becoming a worldwide epidemic! Here are three screenshots from the programme to tempt everyone over to the AAI Forum for the video: Roger [Edited to display screenshots at the correct aspect ratio!]

Hi Roger, If the screenshots were taken from my video, may I ask if they play on your PC in the same aspect ratio as the screenshots? Because they are supposed to play in widescreen format 16:9 not in 4:3 as shown! They play as expected (widescreen) on my own PC. If anyone ever sees videos I do with apparently the wrong aspect ratio, please say so because although the technology is supposed to be 100% compatible with all Windows Media Players, it ain't necessarily so! There are alternative ways to achieve the same result but the file sizes for any given quality would be greater. Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave, Yes, these screenshots were taken from your video which does, indeed, play in widescreen format. I hadn't even noticed the discrepancy but I can only conclude that the Power Cinema software (which I used) automatically converts them to 4:3 at the time the screenshot is taken. Roger

Hi Dave & Roger. I always have to change the aspect ratio when I get screen captures off PowerDVD by Cyberlink. I try first using 4:3 but if that's obviously wrong, I focus on a Hayley & proportion her up. Once I find eg. she needs say 11% reduction in height to look right I then correct all the captures the same. Your eye is always the best critic for proportionality. Keep reducing in one direction (not stretching...you lose quality) till she looks right. There, thats my 2 cents worth, Graemek

Thanks Graeme. Just wondering... could you do the opposite to elevate her position in the charts? Roger

I'll do my best....Graeme. However I don't really think she needs me. I may well have the opposite effect.
