Think I caught Welsh dry rot while I was there , I gather the next night was cancelled, so we were lucky, we only got wet, I would rather get wet and take my chances than have had no concert at all.

Absolutely, it was a wonderful night. Even Hayley was surprised we sat there through the downpour. But there is only one Hayley, and I haven't seen her since. Actually Paul, I think it was wet rot. Martin D

Yeah, I've seen those around, but I don't think they're "official". It says right in the description that the information that the information is from Wikipedia, one of the most un-trustworthy information site in the world. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

However, I highly doubt that publically edited articles would ever be published, at least not without verification. I think what they mean is that people at the Wikipedia organization were somehow involved in retrieving the information used in the book. -Rory

Hello folks! I see the cover photograph comes from Hayley's Wikipedia page. It was taken by our own Steve H at Cadogan Hall in London on 6 June 2006. Richard

Why anyone would want to pay good money for a book of Wikipedia articles or based on them beats me!
Not everything in the Hayley Wikipedia article is correct but I gave up checking it a quite while ago, it's probably near enough on the whole. They won't even allow a mention of HWI in the article, even though we have been around longer than the article and nearly as long as Wikipedia itself. But they include well over a dozen links to the HWI website or archives in the references... something doesn't sound right about that.
As for a book based on Wikipedia, well that's just lazy writing/copying and is liable to contain incomplete and incorrect information, if it's even legal to do it (but I don't know). Stay well clear is my advice.
Cheers, Dave

Yes, I agree. Did they even have Steve's permission to use that photo? I very much doubt it, in which case it is an infringement of his copyright, and he would be within his rights to take legal action if they refused to remove it.
