I would be fairly confident that your latest purchase is genuine. Overprinting the cover seems to be a Japanese 'thing' with their promo's.
As for the hand written correction - quite possibly done by someone at the radio station.
I'm not so sure now about my 'Pure' promo but, as you say, very collectible.

Couple more copies of Hayley Meets Japanese Songs, currently at $1.50 and $9.99. Link 1Link 2It looks like both of these and the one that comet posted earlier are all promo CDs, so they're missing a few tracks from the full-length one. There are several full-length CDs up on eBay ranging from $15-$24 including shipping. And if I only had the money, I'd buy that violin! |

Link 1I'm very suspicious of this one as it is shown as being in one of the new 'super jewel' cases. It is also on a TDK CD-R with no dot-matrix code in the centre. I suspect it is a fake! H Grant, The picture will have to wait as we are going to our sons for a few days pre Christmas to deliver presents;with an early start tomorrow However the 'Sings' promo is nearly identical to the 'Meets' one..... Identical cream slimline jewel case. Same insert plain on the inside but with 'Hayley sings' on the front. Also the actual disc has all 12 songs not 10, but beside this looks more or less identical with the same laser numbering/letter identifier ( different reference ) at the centre.
