Hi Walter. Now that is one sure fire greeting! I wonder what greetings you send for the Fourth of July, which I always rate as your equivalent to our Guy Fawkes night for fireworks and sky crackers? Peter

Hi Everyone!
Well, we all know one birthday girl who most certainly will NOT be nursing a hang-over this morning!
I reckon Hayley will have had as much fun last night stone cold sober as anyone else would have done, and probably much more than anyone ending up legless.
This is a girl who proves you can have a real fun life by just being alive and living. BUT, Hayley, this is your last year as a teenage kid!!!!! I don't think you rush through your life always looking to tomorrow. I think you do grab every minute and relish the time AT the time. Unlike one of my nephews who seems more concerned at arriving somewhere else before he has left where he's at!
One of George Burns best one-liners was: I'm not surprised I'm 84. What doe surprise me is the speed with which I got here!
Wonderfully mature young woman that you are Hayley, grab awareness of every second of the remaining 364 days of still being a normal teenage kid!!! For, despite all the extraordinary things that make you UNordinary, your ordinariness is the most extraordinary of them al!!!
Peter

Peter Thanks Peter! Now I feel the pressure to come up with something obscenely ostentatious for Independence Day! But this talk about Guy Fawkes and his gunpowder, plus my understanding that the Brits like to celebrate the 4th by taking to the streets to burn effigies of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin ,makes me a bit nervous! Just a bit of fun, Walter.. P.S. I enjoy your posts very much, are you a writer by profession? Edit: I corrected the quote tags. Richard Thanks Richard..Walter.

Hi Graeme, that's a nice photo but you forgot to resize it to 800 wide. I've done the resize now but unfortunately, 'forum resizes' never seem look as good as one done at home.
Please try to compress photos to around 100 KB or less unless it's needed to read small text, thanks!
Cheers, Dave
