Hello everyone, I am sure most of you already know that Hayley will celebrate her 21st birthday in just over two weeks' time, on Thursday 10th April. It's an important milestone in her life so we are starting her birthday thread a little early this year to give everyone who wishes to do so the opportunity of posting a birthday message before the big day. We will try to ensure that in one way or another, Hayley will be able to read the name of everyone who posts in this thread before the deadline (see below - more details later). Please try to keep any embedded text, images or icons down to a reasonable size so the thread can be kept neat and tidy - it's quite possible that Hayley herself will decide to take a look at the thread and there will certainly be no prizes for the biggest message! Remember to "sign" your message at the end - with whatever name you wish to be known. Your screen name, first name or full names are all acceptable and if you wish, you can add the name of your Country or location. If you want to take a chance on presenting Hayley with your own greeting personally in Croydon or at Buxton, please don't let it stop you from posting in this thread too. The last chance we will have of meeting Hayley before her birthday is on Saturday 5th April at the Buxton concert, so that is when we intend to bring your names and messages to her attention. Therefore, please post your message by Wednesday 2nd April, that is, 7 days from now and 3 days before Buxton. Any questions should be posted in a separate "Birthday Discussion" thread in this Celebration board, thanks! Dave and Richard

Great, I'll be having exams in a few day's time so I better say it now, simple and short:
Happy 21st birthday Hayley! Your music has always been my heart's solace which helps me come over my stressful study. Thank you so much. From James Mok, Hong Kong
Thanks Richard for being our 'delivery man'.

Hello James and everybody.
I'm not going to Buxton, so I won't be the delivery man. We'll decide who it is later.

Just wanted to say
A Very Happy 21st Birthday Hayley!!
I hope you have the most marvellous time on 10th April. Your wonderful music and thoughtful nature touches so many lives; your hard work and dedication to improve conditions for those less fortunate than ourselves through your work with UNICEF is an inspiration to everyone.
I will never forget the day that I first met you and got to say “Hi Hayley!” because it was the day my life changed forever. You are a delight to know Hayley, and I wish for you whatever you may wish for yourself in life and I thank you for just being ‘You’.
Lots of Love Grant Spondon. Nr. Derby

Hi Hayley, Wishing you a happy 21ST birthday, I hope you enjoy this milestone in your life. Here's a poem of mine to you, its your present.
See the beauty in her eyes, Watch her innocence as she walks, Hoping to god that she gives you a glance Even if its just for a moment Cause in that split second, All the troubles of the world pass.
The light shines elegantly on her face, She smiles, a smile that will forever change your life, Her voice is that of an divine messanger, As she sings to the world, Bringing warmth to the cold And joy to the anguished.
I stood in amazement Thinking of words to say, To express her beauty, In time i realized there are only Thoughts no words.
I see her singing on a field, Her hair blowing like the wind on wheat, Her voice echoing as if she were singing to a crowd, Her pose, virtuous stiving for exellence, She lookes up at me and says "Everything Will Be Ok"
Enjoy,
From Steve U.S.A

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY HAYLEYHi Hayley I very much hope that you will enjoy your special day on the 10th April. Its hard to believe that its been almost three years (when you were just 18 !) since we first met and I discovered your wonderful voice for the first time. Thank-you for all the memorable concert performances, each one abolutely fantastic and quite unique. Thank-you also for your never ending patience and kindness when meeting your fans, it really is most appreciated. Can I also say thanks for bringing a passion for music back into my life that I long since thought was lost. It truly is a very great pleasure to know you, have a great birthday. Take care Hayley. Hi Hayley,
I'll be at Buxton, and I know it will be another incredible experience. So thank you in advance, and thank you for all the wonderful music that you have given us to enjoy over the years.
I stole this blessing from a song that was before your time:
May the long time sun shine upon you All love surround you And the pure light within you Guide you all the way on.
Have a very happy birthday.
God Bless
Martin

Dear Hayley,
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue. If I could sing as good as you, I would sing Happy Birthday to YOU. Since I don't, I won't... So I am just sending this Happy Birthday greeting just for YOU.
Hayley, I wish YOU all the BEST! May you have many many more Healthy & Happy Birthdays! And all the joy that YOU have given me in your music, I wish the same for you.
Have a Wonderful 21st Birthday !!!! Howard Florida, USA

Never let it be said I can't take hints, Richard.
Happy Birthday Hayley and congratulations on the last great 'best of all' celebrations.
The future ones, save perhaps 25, have a succession of boring noughts on them, causing ever-increasing dread. Remember what George Burns said, 'I'm not at all surprised I'm 84 but I am surprised at the speed with which I got here."
Pace yourself, don't burn out early, take time out now and again simply TO BE.
Much Love Postscript.
