I have just joined the site... I never realised that this site had its own message forum its great! My name is Mark, and I live in London, UK!
It's so good to join! I have followed Hayley and her music for about two or three years now... and have seen her twice last year! Once in Regents Park on a blistering hot day, and the other in Canterbury Cathedral... all though all could see was a huge pillar... but I stil got to hear her sing, and that surely is a blessing!
Hello to one and all again!

Hello Mark and welcome to the forum. What a shame we didn;t know you a few months ago as there were quite a few members of this forum at Canterbury. It would have been good to meet you. Hopefully, we will have that chance in the future.
I hope you continue to enjoy this forum and we all look forward to your future posts.
Best wishes, Roger

Hello Mark and welcome. I was at Canterbuty too - what a pity , as Roger says that we didnt meet there. I live in Essex and work in London. I am sure you will love this forum, and I look forward to hearing from you again. Are you going to Cadogan Hall to see Hayley on 24th Feb or 9th April? Stuart

Good Heavens, how on earth did it take you so long?! Well, you are here now, so welcome and I hope you find here all that is necessary to enhance and satisfy your interest in all things Hayley, and doubtless many things Kiwi.
You will not have been aware of the few of us at 'Toast New Zealand' which I guess is the sweltering hot day to which you refer. Canterbury is a little more surprising that you were not aware of us HWIers who were there. Perhaps we don't stand out as much as we thought we did! More attention perhaps is required towards our public image? On the other hand, we wouldn't want to stand out so much that new people would not want to approach or might feel that unless they were part of the group they couldn't get to Hayley. It is new people whom Hayley most wants to see first off.
Anyway, welcome. If you haven't already found it, we should first direct you to the various Cadogan Hall events where some of us will doubtless see you soon. On the other hand, London is a big place as well as being several places and it might be that an event in London is more difficult for you to get to than some of us who are just outside, like the old joke about the Welsh, that it was often easier for two Welshman to meet on a platform at Paddington station than somewhere in Wales.
For foreigners, the meaning behind that saying is the lay of the Welsh valleys and the early railway connections, made it easier to go down a valley by express train to London than go across the mountains in between!

Hi Mark Welcome to the forum. As a fan of Hayley's, you can be sure that you have come to the right place to discuss all things Hayley. I see that you have seen Hayley a couple of times, have you booked anything for this year yet ? its just that a few of us are seeing Hayley at Cadogan Hall in London on the 24th Feb and I know there are still some seats left. I guess this could be a little confusing as my name is also Mark i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I guess people will know which one is which, as I am pictured in my avatar but, if you have any thoughts on how to avoid possible confusion Very best wishes and looking forward to your future posts. Mark.

A big hello from me too, to the "new" Mark... welcome and may we see many more posts from you in the future! Mark (the 'original' ) is quite right though, things may become very confusing unless you can think of a suitable variation of your name to display that will enable us to tell who is who (or is that whom is whom? ) You can at any time change your name that is displayed, by clicking on the "Profile" button near the top of the forum (then 'Modify Profile' - 'Display Name'). Good luck! Cheers, Dave

Hay you guys! Its great to hear all your comments! So many avid funs! It's great! Woo hoo! Tell you what, it's hard to find people around here who know Hayley's long list of works... but I'm preaching em as much as poss i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif LOL! It was the 'Toast New Zealand' that I went to! Great day for it as Peter expounded! Great fun though! Tell you what, she was the only one main reason I went to that, and I got to meet the star herself! And a photo... I'll never forgot that day!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifYes, I decided to go to the April one, (as deadlines are looming at uni ... but...) it's Hayley's 20th the next day, (if im not mistaking!)... Actually when I looked, whatever date it was (can't remember off top of head like), I use the Cadagon Hall date for the day before! I think her birthday on 10th April, dat right? Was wondering what surprises HWI had in store for her! If it can be made public knowledge (hee hee) then let the plan unfold! Thanks to you all again! Hope to speak to you all more in da future! Peace out! Lol

Hi Mark (MJ variety!),
You have the dates correct - Hayley's birthday is on 10th April. We haven't planned anything in particular for her on this occasion. We bought her what we hope was a special present for her 18th but it is not something we reckon to do every year. No doubt, individual members who see her on the previous day will give her a card. She appreciates small tokens like that but we have been advised that she would not wish fans to spend a lot of money on her. For that reason, approximately 50% of what was collected for her 18th was donated to UNICEF.

Cool! Cool! Unfortunately as a poor student, she wouldn't get much off me! Lol! But its so great that she takes the gifts and cards and appreciates them! She appreciates us, and so we appreciate her!!!!
P.s. I have a picture of me and hayley, on my computer pictures but not on a webpage or anything! How can I add it to my profile? Thank u! MJ
