Hello again! Just to keep everybody up-to-date with my ever-changing musical tastes, my new favourite songs are 1. Dido's Lament On Hayley's official forum, SteveM said that "'Dido's Lament' ... is the most stunning song she's done since 'Pokarekare Ana,'" and I wholeheartedly agree. Oksana Hello Oksana! I think this song is the most surprising and one of the best ways to end an album like Odyssey that I've ever heard. The more I listen to this version of Odyssey the more like it and Dido's Lament at the end is one of the reasons for it. What a pity that buyers of the Special Edition of Odyssey may never hear it I think of this version of Odyssey as a concept album - to be listened to at one sitting and not track by track. But there a few tracks I particularly like - joint number one in today's list are: 1. Prayer 1. Never Saw Blue 1. Quanta Qualia 1. May It Be 1. The Mists of Islay 1. She Moves Through The Fair 1. Dido's Lament Immediately after finishing Odyssey and Dido's Lament, I like listening to John Cage's 4' 33" Cheers, Dave

For me it remains: Pokarekare Ana Hine e Hine But my third place is a problem: There are five contestants, four ex Pure.and the fifth Wiegenlied from, Odyssey. I understand her German went down well in Germany (Steve) while Hayley resists further German develeopment as she herself remains unsure of her German abilities (Hayley).

For me, my favourite songs from Odyssey would be : 1. Never Saw Blue 2. She Moves Through the Air 3. Both Sides Now
I personally, prefer her Pure album best.

2. She Moves Through the Air I'm thinking a true Madame Butterfly could accomplish that.

Hi wormy! I would have to agree with your excellent choice of song! Oh let me wheel - let me spin Let it take me again Turning me into the light"('Dark Waltz' from 'Pure') That's a beautiful song- it's so full of imagery Regards, Andrew

Well, if You are Water, or My Heart Belongs to you were on Oddysey, I might vote for them. But they are not on my copy.
For me, Quanta Qualia by a mile.
And then O Mio Babbino Caro, according to Sue the finest rendition ever of her favourite aria.
And of course, the wonderful Never Saw Blue.

I know this is an old thread, but I just got Pure and Odyssey yesterday and I just have to keep playing Prayer today. On this album, this has to be the best. I just sink into a warm sea of awesome when that song comes on. More than anything, it is prickley shiver inducing. Love it.
