Great news for Hayley fans in the UK! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI've just found several copies of the Australian version of "Odyssey" in HMV, 362 Oxford Street, London W1, price £17.99. They weren't there when I looked this morning! This is the branch by Bond Street Underground Station, served by the Central and Jubilee Lines, but I expect "Odyssey" will also be available in other branches of HMV, so check locally. I'm going to listen to it this evening, and I'll post a review later in the week. Bye for now, Richard

There is a very good chance that your wish will come true, Denis. And if you think Odyssey is fantastic, you wait until you meet her!

This is related to the "Guess The UK Tracklisting" thread as well really - as the version on sale in HMV is the Australian version it will obviously have a different tracklist - basically (apart from having to wait a bit longer forthe UK Edition) will it be worth buying both albums? Does anybody know if tracks that are left off the UK version will appear at a later date - maybe as b-sides on a single or something?

Hi sal, First, let me, too, welcome you to the forum, nice to have you on board Any tracks left off the UK version are indeed likely to appear on a UK "Special Edition" at a later date but there is no telling when this will be. It could be as late as Christmas 2006 - but Christmas this year is also possible and yes, if a single is released, one or two of them could appear in that. Hayley hasn't released any singles before however, except in Japan. If Decca do make a "classical charts" version for the UK (and that isn't certain) they will probably have to drop (or change) at least three of the existing tracks on the NZ/Australian version and add some extra classical tracks, too. I will certainly buy both versions but buying the import from HMV shops is the expensive way of doing it - you can import it directly by post from HMV in Australia www.hmv.com.au for £12 including postage. And I did! Richard, you are certainly right about HMV getting more copies, their Southampton branch also has plenty in stock at £17.99 and they told me on the phone it's in their chart - but no particular position! So I guess it's an album they have to "push", perhaps because they think it will be hard to sell after the UK release date. If they are rolling it out to all their stores it will be VERY interesting to see what happens! If only it had qualified for the classical chart, it would probably get in there before the UK release date! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi Sal, My own personal opinion is yes, it is worth buying more than one version even if there is only one different track. In fact I now own seven different version of Pure from around the world and no two of them are exactly the same. I intend to do the same for Odyssey and already have the New Zealand version thanks to Belinda! Roger

Hello again Sal! I've got 4 different versions of "Pure", and I wouldn't part with any of them. If Decca want the UK version to qualify for the classical charts, it will have to be very different from the Australian version, so I would say it is almost certainly going to be worth buying both versions. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHope that helps. Bye for now, Richard
