Interesting to see 2 original tracks on there too, I wonder what style these will be? Great name for a song 'Never Saw Blue Like That', try and guess what that is about? Hi Emmett and folks, I'm guessing that the original tracks will be the more poppy ones, otherwise the album will be too classical for many people's tastes. Perhaps they will be a bit like Beat of Your Heart or Who Painted the Moon Black? If "Never Saw Blue Like That" is correct, I think it's a nice imaginitive name - but as you say, exactly what it means is anybody's guess! If the rest of the song is as imaginitive as the title, it should be a great one So who's going to start the guessing game? OK then, I will! Using the Pokarekare Ana hypothesis I guess that it's about a girl called Hayley who is looking out over a beautiful deep blue lagoon, somewhere in the South Seas. Probably a place not too far from New Zealand! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi Dave,
Yeah the album seems more classical orientated than Pure. Like you said I hope these 2 tracks are on the lines of poppy as I liked the tracks with that style on the Pure album.
I was just checking on Google and found is a song by an artist called Shawn Colvin called 'Never Saw Blue Like That'. I wonder if its the same version or just a coincidence seeing as the Odyssey track is meant to be an original.

How many of you in the UK are going to wait to September 26th for your copy of Odyssey. Hi Belinda, Wait for the UK release? Not if I can help it! Roger

On the assumption that there can't possibly be two songs called that, the lyrics are here: www.stlyrics.com/lyrics/dawsonscreek2/neversawbluelikethat.htmYour thoughts? Roger

Wow! Challenging lyrics - not. If that's on the album, I hope it's got a nice tune. Because with a nice tune, Hayley could sing the phonebook. Keith.

Now now guys, you mustn't be cynical... Universal Japan said they are both original and I'm certain no record Company would ever bend the truth.. would they? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHowever... I went off on a search for samples and I really like the tune for Never Saw Blue, I think it would suit Hayley perfectly (whatever the lyrics!!!). The sample of What You Never Know I heard on a Sarah album was too short to judge and anyway it had too much heavy backing, so I'll reserve judgement on that one. I hope Universal's website is correct though, and they ARE both originals - maybe the song titles came out slightly wrong in translation, we shall see. The first person to find out for certain wins my crinkly "nearly new" and highly prized Mars Bar Wrapper for their efforts! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I know what the song is that is the duet with Andrea Bocelli and i heard some of the song and to me it is kind of poppy but I think this one could be alittle different as it is a duet of it . Well the song is Dell'Amore Non Si Sa I got this from alittle thing on her at the Iclassic site about the fall release.

Thank you for the tracklisting .Sound's very interesting the classical seem's more classical then the classical on pure and the pop seem's more poppy which make's me very happy.I hope it has a few upbeat song's on it as some of the classical stuff is very down beat.

I find it odd how she is having Dido's Lament this has nothing to do with that I do not think she can do it. It is because I think of this song for someone that is older. It is a very emoinial song. But I am looking foward to see how she does it.

Hello Kimberly! I've known Hayley since she was sixteen, and I'm sure everybody would agree that she's always had remarkable maturity for her age. Now she's eighteen, she should be able to sing practically anything, and I'm really looking forward to hearing "Odyssey" now. Incidentally, do you have Hayley's DVD "Live from New Zealand" yet? If not, I guarantee you will love it. Bye for now, Richard
