Hi Folks, May I suggest a pre concert meeting at the Harcourt Hotel, Harcourt Street, Dublin 2. From 2pm through to about 4 pm . afternoon of the 11th of September. Many of the members are already familiar with this hotel as it is only about 400 metres from the front door of the National Concert Hall or 600 metres from the top of Grafton street up along the Luas (Tram) line. My wife and I will hopefully meet all you guys there. I'm soo looking forward to this concert... oooh I can't wait.  |

Hi All,
I am green with envy. I just know it will be a special evening for everyone there, Hayley's concerts always are. I get asked myself why I want to see Hayley perform so often, and wouldn't I like a change, and sometimes I do see other performers. But I know I enjoy Hayley's performances more than any other, it is a guaranteed fabulous night. I have seen Hayley perform six times, that is six out of my top ten concerts of all time, and I have been doing perhaps a dozen to twenty concerts a year for over 40 years!
I can imagine that she might revisit some of those wonderful Irish songs she sings. I'm sure Danny Boy and Last Rose sound better in Ireland in the same way that Guinness tastes better in Dublin that anywhere else on the planet.
Have a great time everyone, and I look forward to seeing the photos and reading the reports. I don't care what anyone has said about the vast numbers of photos of recent concerts that have been posted, I enjoy them all, and feel that when I have the privilege of seeing Hayley perform, it is only right to try to share my joy with her other fans who were not able to be there in any way that I can.

Hi Folks, Thanks for all your heartfelt good wishes, Reports from Dublin may be a bit slow coming in as most of the HWI members will be traveling on for the Limerick concert as well. (Lucky us) But expect a deluge of photos :wink: mostly of the compact camera variety when we all get back down to planet earth. Have already met up on Wednesday with Tim and Karsten, all systems go for this afternoon and the concert this evening. |
