Hi Mark,
I did wonder whether to take any as I did not fancy being asked to leave so I left it till right at the end. There was a Kilworth person at either end of the row I was in but I think they were sufficiently wooed by then not to notice. The last shot of Hayley shows what a wonderful venue it is for the audience. There are not many places where you would see the artist so well from the second row.
Regards
Jim

Hi Jim
Thanks a lot for those! Safely downloaded here at work. I shall have to send them home to add to my collection of Hayley pictures.
God Bless

Hi Dean,
I used a Canon D300 with a 38/80 USM lens. I set the film speed to 1600 so that I didn't need flash.

I for one, had I been in management's place, would have gotten out, sent Hayley on her way, told the fans they were out of line and it was going to cost them, and then taken their information so I could issue "bar letters," forever banning them from future Hayley events. Security is no joke, and it isn't fair for a few fans who take it too far to spoil it for the rest of us. Being banned forever from Hayley concerts seems awfully harsh punishment, unless they really were crazy or dangerous in some way. And most concert security don't use pistols. Grant, I do resent your statement about American security. People who are protecting you need to be tough, even if they are more so than seemingly necessary. I'd much rather be protected by "bombastic bullies" than be harmed by real"bombastic bullies"!

The between songs chat from Hayley followed a now familiar pattern as she talked about how she discovered her favourite version of Ave Maria; the one by Caccini which she performed next. So, what is the story about Ave Maria? I've never heard it, I regret to say. Thanks for your report. It's too bad you couldn't take pictures, but all the others from the other concerts should make us feel better.

So, what is the story about Ave Maria? I've never heard it, I regret to say. Hi Libby Sorry I 'clipped' my report but, in my defence, it was getting late. So, just for you, here's the full version. Hayley tells us that the music for Caccini's Ave Maria was given to her by her Nana, but that it remained on top of the piano with lots of other music until Hayley re-discovered it much later and subsequently fell in love with it. Libby, I stand by my comment about American security BUT it was in reference to the sort that Fusilier referred to in his post and not the vast majority who go about their very valuable work in a positive and meaningful manner. Best wishes Grant
