To Comet: " ... I've hardly been outside my room in days, Cos I don't feel that I deserve the sunshine's rays ..." Well, Hello everyone! Now that SHE is in Japan, I feel like I'm ALIVE again. Actually, I have seen her on a TV program recently, and later I discovered that I have missed another one, which was something like a interview on a news program. jp.youtube.com/watch?v=0__PmSQLlzsThe video clip above is not quite the one I have seen on TV, but the song is 'Amazing Grace' : duet with Minako Honda who passed away, I think about two years ago. Oops, I didn't realize that there was an entire thread about this. I'm kind of "hasty", sometimes! hwi.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=singles2&action=display&thread=3582&page=1#70410

Hi Timj, and all, Right now, I plan to go either the one at Shiga, Osaka or Aichi. I'm still undecided, I mean not sure, because sadly, I have not a ticket with me now. I hope I can see Hayley at Shiga concert this Saturday, because I heard that the Biwako Hall in Shiga is one of the best concert halls in Japan, or even in the world. But the Aichi one on 17th is a better date for me, somehow. For I'm now staying in Mie which is roughly in the middle of those major cities (oh but NOT Shiga, no no), I have all the choices and opportunities. Thanks to the excellent railway service called "Kintetsu". Akito

Hi Akito, It's good to hear from you! I hope you can make it to Shiga, I've heard a lot of excellent comments about the venue. I wonder if there's going to be an excellent tour programme once again? Last year it featured wonderful new pictures! I'm also intrigued to know what will be Hayley's songlist. You really need to go to at least one concert to tell us all about it! Stephany

Hello everyone, Hayley's first concert for this Japanese tour is happening right now in Shiga! With the time difference, it must be close to the interval. See pictures of the rehearsals below: Stephany

Thanks Stephany for posting these photos - it's just amazing where you find them.
Whilst the musicians appear to be local (Japanese) the pianist doesn't. I wonder who he is?

Whilst the musicians appear to be local (Japanese) the pianist doesn't. I wonder who he is? Hello Martin, During this Japanese tour, Hayley will be accompanied by Simon Lole (musical director and arranger of All Angels). I therefore suspect that it's him on the picture. Simon posted the following message on his personal blog: Stephany

Hi everyone, Well, after all, I've made it ! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOh I was there Stephany, in Biwako Hall today. Just, everything went well for me today and I was there. I've succeeded in the quest, somehow. When I finally grabbed my ticket for the concert, I was just, so happy and also relieved. Here is the song-list for this "PURE VOICE CONCERT 2008" in Japan. 1. Pokarekare Ana 2. Hana 3. Scarborough Fair 4. Ave Maria 5.Yuki No Hana 6. Sen no Kaze ni Natte Intermission 7. Amazing Grace (not a duet !) 8. Shiroi Iro wa Koibito no Iro 9. Prayer 10. Both Sides Now 11. Tsubasa wo Kudasai 12. Danny Boy encore + Nada Sousou ++ Sonny I had such a great time and also met with Hayley. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'm going to write some more tomorrow, for now I'm weary and sleepy. (it's 1 a.m. right now) Best Wishes from Japan, Akito
