Hi Everyone,
I am really looking forward to this concert. I can't believe how quickly it has come around.
I should be there for 2pm if not before.
For those meeting later, Hanley isn't that big so I think it should be ok for people to find their way around. From the Victoria Hall, walk along Bagnall Street and then down Pall Mall, you can't miss Portofino's at the bottom, around the right hand corner. A few minuites walk.
See you all tomorrow!

Thanks for your good wishes everyone. I'm about to set off for Stoke now, weighted down with goodies, cameras etc. I will try to post something brief when I get back (if Grant doesn't beat me to it)!

I guess I am too late to say this because those of you who are going tonight will already have hit the road. Nevertheless, I'll be with you in spirit. It's just that you won't know that until after you get back! Many members around the world are eagerly awaiting your reports. I may even wait up! Have fun, everyone! Roger

It's just gone five now, so many have probably arrived. Enjoy the performance. Roger, I hope you and some others wait up...it's always a very exciting time on the forum. Ever see some of the coverage from NASA when the scientists are in their control room as they await the first photos from a Mars Lander Cheers, Joe

Hi Everyone, What an absolutely wonderful evening. I really enjoyed the concert and it was fantastic being able to see Hayley perform in my home town.. (and be able to go straight home after a concert! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif)Hayley was absolutely wonderful, she really was on top form, singing most of her usual songs but as a massive All Angels fan I was very interested to hear her perform a version of 'Songbird' from the new album and I was very impressed. There was a signing afterwards and though Hayley couldn't stay long, she was still able to see everybody there, although by the time that I got there, they were no longer allowing photo's with Hayley but I still managed to get some while I was waiting. I'll post the photo's later or tomorrow but here is a taster... Dazza

Hello everyone and congratulations Dazza for being the first to post and with a photo too! Just got in having experienced one of the most noteworthy Hayley concerts I have attended. Outstanding performance from our special girl - three dresses (including a new one!) and 17 songs ...... We would perhaps have expected 'River of Dreams' and yes, we got that, 'Songbird' too perhaps, OK yes we got that one as well. One of our group is constantly hoping for 'Never Saw Blue' yep! got that one too. 'Now is the Hour' ? well perhaps, if we're very lucky - no problem and very beautifully sung live in public for the first time. But who would have predicted that tonight Hayley's final song would be 'Wuthering Heights' !!! Back with a full report on the day shortly. Best wishes Grant
