Hello all, this is Andy, posting from a small town about 25 kilometers north of Stuttgart in southwestern Germany . About a year ago i've stumbled over a advertisement on amazon.com (where i bought alot of Sarah Brightman CDs over the years) pointing me towards Hayley records with the standard "you bought *this* so you might want to buy *that*" remark. Well what shall i say. I did. Since then poor Sarah spends most of her time hanging around in the bookshelf... It took me not too much of effort to infect my wife with the Hayley-Virus as well and so we both became great admirers of Hayley's art. In May this year we took our chances and went to the Stuttgart Il Divo concert to see her live. As for many others on this forum too, Hayley was our reason to go there: i haven't knowingly heard any record of Il Divo until that day... Hayley was breathtaking. The only sad part about it was, that noone told us she'll be singing CDs after her show and so we missed the chance to see her there and have a chat. Well - there will be a next time for sure! It's great that Hayley has such a nice and supporting community supporting her here at HWI. I've been a regular visitor and reader since a couple of weeks already and now decided to register myself. So that's all for now. Cheers, Andy

Hi Andy (aka "Cookie Monster" ), Wie Gehts? Welcome to the 'HWI' Forum! I hope you enjoy meeting some very loyal Hayley supporters here! Gosh- all of a sudden there seems to be an abundance of Andrews... in our various forms: "Drew, Andy and Andrew"... :je If any more decide to join the Forum they may have to start being a bit inventive with their usernames, perhaps "Androo" or "Droo"? I guess there's always still "Andreas" though! Ahh... this feels like a hall of mirrors! Enjoy your stay... Regards, Andrew

Hi! Delighted to hear from you Mr Mistoffelees. Welcome to the Forum. Sorry you missed meeting with Hayley. It is irritating when they don 't announce that she will be signing... but, when was she signing? If during the interval they might have been concerned they wouldn't get half the audience back, still queuing to meet her!!! Pertinent question, Andy, or am I simply way off beam. The significance of Mr Mistoffelees. Anything to do with an appreciation of T S Eliot's poetry? Peter S.

Welcome Andy.
I am rather surprised that Mr Bocelli hasn't signed up as a reciprocal fan to add to the growing list of Andrews.
PS. I am Drew because my elder sister's name is Andrea. She is the one who is called Andy in our family.

This could have resulted in further confusion on the 'HWI' Forum! Regards, Andrew

Hi Andy! Willkommen im Forum ! It's nice to see a new member found the way to HWI. You will enjoy your time here, great and funny people. It's sad to hear that you missed the signing session of Hayley in Stuttgart. I visited the Il Divo show in Oberhausen. There they also didn't say anything about Hayley's signing session and when I asked the security they either said that there is no session or they didn't know anything about it at all. I only met Hayley there because the break between the performances is the most boring part of a concert. So I walked around the hall to shorten the time and there she was! Not many fans around her so she had time for a chat. But maybe you meet her during her upcoming German tour. On www.hayleywestenra.de they say that there should be a tour in October this year although they say that for more than two months now without saying anything more detailed if the shows are confirmed or in which venues she will perform. I met Hayley again at the "Toast New Zealand" in London and I aksed her about the German tour. She told me that there definitely will be a tour in October. But to be honest I get a bit worried as time goes by. Maybe her management has other plans with her ? But let's hope the best. Maybe there is a chance to see her in Germany this year. Thomas

Thanks alot for all those warm welcomes, i appreciate all the good wishes! To answer your question peter aka postscript: of course it has! The one and only originaly conjouring cat! In fact CATS was what brought me to listen to musicals and further on towards more classical music when i was still at school about 16 years ago (gosh thats a long time ago...). We listened to the musical for a project at school and it was Mr. Mistoffelees as a "personality" as well as as a great and cheerful piece of music that almost immediately caught my attention. And the cookie-monster... well thats just what i am. Cookies will be my death someday About Hayley's announced tour to germany in october: since months i am lurking the forums and Guestbooks searching for clues and dates and as October draws closer and closer with still no word about it i am starting to get a bit worried too... but lets try to keep the spirits up, at least there was no negative information so far either! And last but not least about Hayleys appearance in Stuttgart: i have not been able to get confirmation wether or not she was out during the interval but since so many people wrote from all these other occasions during the Il Divo tour... *cheers* Andy
