Hi Helen Welcome to the Forum and it is great to hear that you had an enjoyable time with Hayley last Saturday, both in a professional and personal capacity. If I can be so bold as to mention that voting is still open on the Classicfm website for Album of the Year with Hayley's album "Treasure" being one of the candidates (hint hint!). Perhaps you could also mention it to your fellow band members. Martin

Well done, Grant ! Amazing photos and I "borrowed" one for my new avatar, along with the opening lyrics to a famous song by Chris de Burgh. I had a dream last night that Blake were singing the song to open the concert at Broadlands and when they came to the chorus a certain lady came onto the stage in her new red coat and danced with them !!

Hello everyone I hope you don't mind me dropping by, but I'm one of the clarinet players in the Central Band of the Royal British Legion and I just wanted to let you know what I've just popped a pic of Hayley during soundcheck on our MySpace and Facebook pages and I thought you might want to know: www.facebook.com/pages/The-Central-Band-Of-The-Royal-British-Legion/5645919529www.myspace.com/centralbandThere's only one (not very good) photo up there at the moment, but I'm hoping to add a few more this week, I saw one of the horn players taking photos on what looked like a v snazzy camera - so I'll see if he can send them over and I'll let you know when they're up. I'm so pleased you all enjoyed the concert; Hayley was (of course) an absolute pleasure all day - we were all blown away by her performance and just how lovely she is! All the best Helen x Hi Helen Thanks so much for joining us and for the photo's I certainly did enjoy the concert, I thought the band was supurb A great choice of music, very diverse, really showed off what you could do. Many years ago, I played flute in a band of around the same size and i had forgotten what a fantastic sound it is! It was also wonderful to hear Hayley accompanied by the band, this was a first (I think) for Hayley and you did a great job with it. People meeting Hayley for the first time often comment on what a lovely person she is and I of course fully agree This is without doubt one of the reasons why I am such a huge fan, the other of course being her totally unique, pure, wonderful voice. I look forward to seeing some more photo's of the sound check if you can find some. Very best regards Mark

Hi Grant Love the photos and the captions. The one where Hayley looks as though she's thinking "this is going to be a long tale" wasn't when I was talking to her was it ? I must admit that I had something to tell her and I got a little tongue tied and I could see her trying to take it in. She then went on to say -"so you mean...... "? and I had to say "no, what I'm trying to say is......" Oh gosh, I just didnt explain it very clearly. Anyway, she understood in the end If you should ever read this Hayley - I'm really sorry Best wishes Mark

The one where Hayley looks as though she's thinking "this is going to be a long tale" wasn't when I was talking to her was it ? It could have been Mark. I remember thinking, on a number of occasions during my 'photo sesssion' "I must remember that these were taken when ...... " and of course, I didn't! I can't even remember who Hayley was grinning at whilst I was trying to photograph her with Caitlin! As for getting tongue tied, it's that beautiful smile that does it. One second of that and my tongue climbs behind my teeth to hide! I'm sure she knows what affect it has on us and I can just see her thinking "Time for my captivating smile I think. Yup, works every time!" Oh, and Hayley, if you do read this, promise never to stop smiling! Best wishes Grant

Hello everyone No captions this time, just more smiles for Graeme (and everyone else of course!) See ya Grant Thanks Grant. I have to confess. When I just glance at a smiling Hayley I smile myself immediately.....I'm totally helpless. The one above would have to be the favourite of your batch of 4. Graeme PS these last 2 posts unveil the mystery of the other bit of red under the (very) red coat. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
