Hi Dori, I remember the first time I saw Hayley in concert in St John Smith Square, London - The feeling was incredible, such a euphoric high, but once I got home I became a manic depressive for at least a week, because I got to meet Hayley after the concert I could not come to terms with the thought that it will never be like that again. Well some twenty or so meetings later and now I don't worry so much about 'the next time' because I know there will always be 'another one' so I try to enjoy the last one for longer. I am sure you will see Hayley many many more times and hopefully one day you will meet up with more HWI'ers - I certainly hope so. Take Care and enjoy your memories until the next time! Steve H

...thanks for sending pictures of Hayley that we can all see standing on stage (unlike my photos! ) Hi Dori, I'm so glad you went and had a great time! By the way, are you sure that you can't see Hayley standing on stage more clearly, on any of your photos? Not even on the full size originals from your camera? If you think you can, but you can't extract/magnify the part you need, let me know as I'm sure I could do that for you. Cheers, Dave

Hello Roger, Dave and Steve, Yes, I can't wait to see Hayley again, but I'm sure it will be sometime again this year, especially is she has her new album coming out. I think if she sees for a third time, she'll be real sure that I'm a dedicated fan. I'm sure there are some people she sees once or twie, and then never again, so I hope to become a regular for her NZ appearances! Dave, that will FANTASTIC if you could magnify a couple! I would really, really love that! If that's not too much to ask, I would love to see Hayley's face. :2fun: Dori

Hi Dori I'm sure Hayley already knows that you are a dedicated fan - it's not just the turning up at concerts - she will also remember the gifts and the kind words. Hayley let me know quite definitely that she remembered me at the third concert I attended and it was a very special moment. There have been many since, but at Bath last December, she looked up from the table she was sitting at, smiled sweetly and said "Hi Grant!" Just keep savouring the moments Dori, there will be many more! Best wishes Grant

Dori, I'm glad you enjoyed the concert. It's one of my ambitions to see Fiona Pears one day in the UK since I've read so much about her. I tend to agree with your views on alcohol by the way. Although I only drink on special occasions, most of the problems with youth crime in this country now are caused by excessive drinking.

Hello Jeff, Thanks so much for that support. I even realized someone in the crowd - who shouted something very inappropriate to Hayley while on stage - had a little too much to drink. So yes, the drink is without doubt a problem at all times. I do, however, repspect those who drink sensibly and responsibly. Yes Grant, I'm hoping she realizes what a big fan I am, but I still can't wait to become a 'regular' at her appearances in Auckland. I can't wait for her to come back! Dori

That post 75 of yours Steve is a very lovely sentiment most endearingly expressed. It makes us here (UK) realise again how very fortunate we are. However and this of course is perhaps looking at least ten years ahead. Dori may have the final benefit for the indicators would be that Hayley would want her children brought up the NZ way and she would make her 'final' home in NZ. A long wait but in the end it may be we in the UK who finally are bereft!

NZ is a little too far for me Emil

Steve H Hi Steve, Dori & everyone Some of you may remember me reporting my feelings after meeting Hayley at Telford back in 2006. Although I had met her before, this was the first time that I had spent some time with her before the performance and quite alot of time afterwards I drove home that evening feeling wonderful - re-living the night and my time with Hayley over in my mind - and singing along to 'Pure' at the top of my voice The next morning, my family thought I was very quiet (for me) and told me I wasn't at all myself - I'd even lost my appetite. I must admit to somehow feeling a little depressed. I was fine after a few days I dont get like that so much now, like Steve, I know there will always be another concert - although some are a little more special than others. So Dori, what I'm trying to say, is that I know exactly what you mean. As Steve says, just treasure the memories you have until the next time - and there will be a next time Thanks so much once again for your wonderful report and photo's. Take care Mark

Hello Mark, Belinda, Peter and Emil, I am unfortunately very sick with an aweful cold at the moment. So I appologize for the delay in the replies... Yes, Belinda, I do hope that you make it to the next Auckland concert! That would be fabulous. To have a bus of HWI'ers woudl be fantastic! Mind you, I'd have to have my entire family to join HWI in order for them to be eligibale to baord the bus. :2fun: Peter, I know I have the fantastic advantage of living in Hayley's very own country, thus the chances of meeting her again and again will always be here. I can't tell you how pleased I am at that! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSteve, I felt very star-struck when I met Hayley for the first time, and felt a little upset the day after meeting her, but I was so busy with university that it didn't depress me as such. However this time round was pure bliss, because I wasn't so nervous and Hayley recognized me, which was fantastic. It was a moment to truly treasure. I also can't wait to visit the UK for my post-grad studies to meet all of UK HWI'ers! Then we can all go to a Hayley concert, and I will feel complete! :2fun: Dori

Hello Steve and Grant, Well, it would be a few years, to be honest. I am currently in my second year of university, with one more year to go to complete my BA. Then I am planning on teaching for about 3-5 years, and then go to the UK to complete my Masters and PhD in Art History. So i'm looking at....gee...... 7 to 8 years?? Where would Hayley be then?? But to be honest, it might be less then that by half, depending on how much I like/dislike teaching. However, that doesn't mean that i won't 'visit' the UK before actually living there, because I'd like to see what it's like first. Perhaps I should hide in Hayley's suitcase the next time round. :2fun: Time will tell! Dori
