Dori, I've just ploughed thru all your (considerable) stuff.
Well done you.
Would the word incomparable do for Hayley?
Graeme PS We stayed at Campell's Bay, Auckland North Shore, with friends after Kerikeri and dropped Belinda off at Devonport Ferry terminal on her way to the airport. Did we pass anywhere near you Dori?

Hello Graeme,
Oh my goodness, Campbell's bay is two minutes away from me!! Too bad you didn't tell me... Yes, I've taken the Davenport Ferry many times, including my trips to Tiritiri Matangi and Rangitoto Islands. Fantastic journey.
Hayley is, without doubt, incomparable.

Hi Dori! It's fantastic that you could make it to Hayley's and Dave's concert. You were so excited to go to one of those events. Lovely how Hayley responded to your gifts. Thank you so much for your report and all the nice photos. Best wishes, Thomas

Hello Graham,
That should be exciting for you. Have you met Hayley before? If you haven't, it's going to be an amazing moment for you. I love how ,me being different with my scarf, makes Hayley remember me better! :2fun: See, there are advantages of being a black sheep among the white! :2fun: I can't wait for Hayley to return to NZ for more tours. It is going to be so fantastic to see her in concert - up close next time! :2fun:

I really enjoyed reading it, as your enjoyment came over very well . My first Hayley concert, at Buxton, will soon be here and I expect I will be just as excited ! Thanks Graham This seems as good a place as any NZ thread to say 'thank you' to all our down-under members for their sterling reporting--and we still have Stuart's pictures to come. Thanks to Graeme, Marianne, Belinda, Ross, Joyce, Dori and Graham. The danger of mentioning people is you inadvertently leave someone off, I hope not. If I have you know I mean you too! You have done us proud from down there. It seems like yesterday that we were all looking forward to this tour and suddenly, it is ll over. Although busy with the day-to-day running of the Westenra Empire I am sure her family must feel somewhat flat and empty now Hayley's literally flown the nest. I feel as flat as I used to feel when a show ended and it was the last night party. That is despite the fact we have so much to come this year here in the UK but I know how suddenly it will have flown. There is something about this girl that you dread her arrival for she seems no sooner to have arrived then she has flitted on. Thank you Kiwis [( edit)and others down under] for doing so well in your reporting. Also those who were only temporary denizens. Peter S.

Hello Belinda and Dori and Mark and everyone! Belinda, i've just checked the Blackbarn thread and Hayley hasn't posted her review yet... do you think you could nip over to her dad's house and ask him to drop the hint? Seriously though, I've enjoyed reading about the concerts, all your exploits and seeing the photos! I'm glad you had a great time and I'm sure it's something you'll all remember for a long time to come. Hayley too! Let's hope you get a tour every year from now on... a great time was had by all, I think! Cheers, Dave

Hello Belinda and Dori and Mark and everyone! ...D Let's hope you get a tour every year from now on... a great time was had by all, I think! Cheers, Dave And perhaps someone could drop the hint to ensure at least one performance (why not two: one at the beginning and one at the end of the tour) is in Christchurch Town Hall, sufficiently in advance I can book a seat for both concerts and still hope to get a cheap flight out and back. I think I would then centre myself on Christchurch and foray abroad on day trips of two or three days, dependent upon how long she is there for. Peter S.

I have also read that some have been so nervous that they become 'tongue tied' . I hope my first meeting is 'special' and I mange to remain calm enough that what I say make sense ! Graham

Hello all, From the bottom of my heart, thanks so much for giving me that little 'push' ( ) to go to Hayley's concerts (I would have gone any way though.... ) but just looking forward to reporting back and sharing the winderful experience has been such a joy. I truly cannot wait until I attend Hayley's next NZ concert, and meet her yet again. Also thanks to everyone else who attended the other ITWN concerts, and thanks for sending pictures of Hayley that we can all see standing on stage (unlike my photos! ) It has been a dream-come-true. Dori

Hi Dori, Not at all. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Despite the excitement of the event, it can be something of an anticlimax afterwards but, being able to report it here allows you to relive the experience and that keeps the dream alive a little longer. I hope you don't have to wait too long for your next opportunity to see Hayley. When you do, she will still remember your name, you'll see! Roger
