Hi Ross
Thanks for the latest pictures. It looks like a fantastic place for a concert, and that camera lens of Jill's is awesome!
Best wishes Grant

Thanks for the great photos Ross. They really cheered me up. Looks like you all had a great time! The idea of an outdoor concert seems bizarre here in the UK in February. Last night it hit -7C here and the ground didn't thaw out all day! I don't blame Hayley for escaping back to NZ!
Martin.

My goodness Sophie has grown up!
Did anyone at Millbrook ask Sophie how she got on deputising for Hayley at the presentation of the "Global Kiwi Young Achiever Award" the week before in London?

Hi everybody! Thank you Ross for the excellent pictures. What a wonderful concert that was! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Enjoying a concert in NZ summer sun having all the Westenras around. I'm jealous, like Steve. Today exactly one year ago my sister and I arrived in CHCH ... And this year? ... Germany It's freezing! So enjoy the concerts and NZ. That's a very special trip for everyone involved. Keep the pictures coming! Thomas

Ross, Thank you for the photos and for posting them so quickly after the concert. Arrowtown looks like the perfect place for an outdoor concert, it makes me more determined to see NZ one day. Interesting to see Isaac's pass says "AAA" - I presume for "Access All Areas"? Sophie enjoying the concert. She starts University this week studying music and law. So that she can draw up her own contracts and look after her own career perhaps? Great idea! James

Hello Ross, LOVELY photos!!! They are fantastic, looks like everyone had such a fantastic time. Just looking at one of your captions - which university is Sophie going to attend? Is it Otago University?

Oh Wow (To use a Hayley saying) What a fantastic concert, i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe Concert in this style i could go to over and over again i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Three times for a start anyway And looking forward to everyone of them. Hayley clearly enjoyed a concert like this and said at one point It will be hard to go back to singing in theatres after performing with scenery like this. Fiona was a crowd pleaser i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif she wore boots i guess the stage may have been rougher than usual Hayley kindly mentioned her fans from overseas i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif and pointed to them i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI Think one song Ross may have left off was Santa Lucia which got a great response from the audience as did Both sides now I am glad Hayley chose Let me Lie to perform to us Live I had thought to my self it would be a perfect song to go with the nature theme and the crowd appreciated she had written it herself. I'm not sure if Ross mentioned she sang In Trutina as well. Oh Mummers Dance Wow i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif That now i think is my all time Favourite She looked so Happy singing and pleased her family were there with her, i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHayley sang Hine Hine then left the stage until we encouraged everyone to come back They come back and sang I Say Grace Never thought i'd see that live either . The crowd clapped along to it there were a couple of Gospel pel singers i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif. made up from of band members. loved it they went off stage again but by this time the crowd were on their feet clapping and they came back, i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe atmosphere was electric and i think everyone wished this was the beginning of the concert and not the end. After the show we headed for the merchandise tent where everyone met Hayley i made sure Akito got to meet Hayley and have his picture taken with her i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifStuart has some great pictures of that i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAfter the show Ross Akito and Stuart and i walked back into Arrow town Akito and Tim headed for Queenstown then we all went to the the Royal Oak fish and chip shop and had a great meal then headed back to our temporary homes Belinda
