Hi All, A good way to make a start for Waipara is to do what Hayley does: The sound check. We were privileged to witness this event by arriving early & strolling in. We kept out of the way but were still spotted by Hayley who came straight up to us afterwards with a "Hi guys" and of course I responded with a "while you're there Hayley"....as you see. Graeme

Hi NL, Here she is at full speed. Interestingly, she spends a fair amount of time during the sound check singing with her eyes closed. I presume to be able to concentrate fully on what she hears. Graeme

Hi All, After we had a few words with Hayley, we realised the Westenras were at Waipara too including Sophie who'd just returned from Germany. I checked out her German & soon realised that it was excellent whilst mine left a lot to be desired. Wow hasn't she shot up !!!! Graeme

"Thank you for your reports and pictures!!! I guess or hope, there are a lot more to come?? Best wishes from the Netherlands, JOYCE."Hi Joyce & thanks & best wishes from me to you. I've been organising my NZ pics for the last couple of days & choosing "the best" so there are still quite a few to come. I seem to produce a lot of duds as well unfortunately so it'll trim the totals down. "Great Pics Graeme, The lyrics are written on the insides of her eyelids Graeme ! Microfilm !" CometOf course Paul. I should have thought of that. "Great pics, Graeme. Thanks for posting! Somehow I doubt she will be wearing those lovely sunglasses in London in the next few weeks
Stephany"Hi Stephany. We had a patch of rainy weather in Christchurch just prior to the Concert & we were concerned. However our (& others) prayers were answered in the affirmative & the day was as you see by the pics. Brilliant. Only Hayley seems to have been unphased by the weather & she had 8 concerts to run.

I heard that Hayley's sunglasses will be going up for bidding on Ebay next week. I just returned from the bank to deposit a sufficient amount of funds to cover any reserve auction price. I had to sell most of my possessions in order to do this, but it will be worth it if I win..... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
