Hi Everyone,
A friend has brought my ticket for this event, he e-mailed Ticket East a few weeks ago about upgrading and was told that we wouldn't be able to.
I have sent him a message asking him to call about upgrading as others have now done so successfully but he is away until next week. Hopefully there will still be some seats left then.

Hopefully there will still be some seats left then. Err, No Dazza!! Your ticket entitles you to occupy a small piece of ground, which may or may not be dry I'm afraid you will have to take your own seat! Seriously, with only 100 tickets available, I'm quite surprised that we have been able to upgrade. My guess is that they haven't been selling or people are waiting until much nearer the time to try to guage the weather. Either that, or everyone has done what we did and gone for standard tickets and accepted that some rich bods will now be sat in front of them! Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant,
Thanks, I assumed that the gold circle was seated, oh well, I hope there are spaces left then.
I still need to sort myself a chair out for the this summers concerts.

Remember dazza, that does not include arm-chairs or sofas (chesterfields to our American cousins)! Peter S.

Remember dazza, that does not include arm-chairs or sofas (chesterfields to our American cousins)! Peter S. As an American (I think ) I am a bit confused by this. I am familiar with both arm chairs and sofas, but have never even heard the word "chesterfield" before - except as a brand of cigarette. Jon

Hi all,
17 days to go - and again fingers crossed regarding the weather.
I've to collect my ticket (and the wristband, of course) at the box office.
Two questions to whom it may concern:
I suppose the meeting point will be at the gate ?
Secondly - is anybody out there with a 'spare' chair for me ? It would be really great, if I could borrow one.
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers, Karsten

...is anybody out there with a 'spare' chair for me ? ... Hi all heading for the 'Gold circle', The matter regarding the chair is settled - my B & B landlady was so kind to announce lending a chair to me. Could anyone suggest a meeting time (and place) who knows the venue a little bit better than I ? Many thanks in advance. Cheers, Karsten

Hi Karsten and everyone going to this one.
Great news about your chair - you obviosly have a very helpful landlady.
I would also like us to arrange to meet up. I will probably drop my luggage at my Travelodge on the way down which, according to Google, is a 20 minute drive from the venue, so I should be there by 4pm easy.
Best wishes Grant

6 days to goMy Pounds are changed and the checklist for the journey is made. Unfortunately the BBC gives only a five-day-forecast. Anyway, I hope the best for the weather. Looking forward to another great concert. All the best, Karsten

Hi Everyone, I am really looking forward to this concert now. I'll be seeing Katherine at Thetford Forest near Norwich on Saturday and will be staying in the Ipswich Premier Inn for the weekend so I will definitely be there for 4pm if not before. I'll be with a friend, he's a member of AAI (but hasn't posted much) and has been to two of their concerts with me before, he thought it was a good opportunity to see Hayley too. Sorry I didn't see your earlier post Karsten but I am glad that you have been able to sort a chair out. We will have a spare one with us anyway - I have already broken one this summer! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifDazza

The weather forecast for the Nacton area on Sunday is for light showers, a maximum temperature of 19ºC; minimum 14ºC and a 5mph south-westerly wind. Not perfect but a lot better than today!
