Hi Karsten It sounds very much like your ticket was not included with the covering letter! Your ticket number should be stated on the letter and you should contact Ticket East as quickly as possible and explain what has happened. Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, A bit like 'moving the goal posts' after the game has started ! If you look at all their other concerts, the layout, and prices are similar with a seating plan, look HEREAny chance if you ring up and explain they would 'upgrade' your ticket? I know we are all 'Gold Circle' at Broadlands. Graham

Yes Graham! This is a bit annoying! Looking back through the thread, Drew's original post, which referred to tickets being offered for the opening of booking, made reference only to the basic tickets which we all seem to have gone for. Although 'Gold Circle' was quoted on the advert, I'm sure non of us were offered a choice of ticket type. It will still be a great evening providing the weather holds out! By the way, so far only Karsten, Dazza, James, Roger, Gordon and I have confirmed their attendance. Anyone else? Best wishes Grant

You're right Grant, there was definitely no mention of Gold Circle tickets on booking, and the extra cost is not significant. I don't think there's any chance of upgrading tickets though if you read the terms and conditions on the site: "REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
All tickets are non-refundable, non exchangeable and non - transferable."
I'm fairly sure Steve H said he was going as well. James

Hi James, Yes Stuart and I are going to Nacton, it is only about 5 miles from where I live! and with All Angels there too, I could not miss that one. It's Stuarts turn to buy the tickets so I will suggest Gold Circle! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there! Steve

Hi all, perhaps it would be a different kettle of fish, if they'll get more money for an upgrade. In any case I would upgrade - if possible (and if the other HWI members would join). Cheers, Karsten

Hi all, I just phoned Ticketeast to upgrade my ticket. There wasn't any problem to do so (for additional GBP 11, of course). Cheers, Karsten

The lady on the other end of the phone was very helpful and when I told her a friend had already rung to upgrade, she knew it was you, so I guess it's just you and me to have done it so far! Best wishes Grant

Cheers, Karsten I would never have thought HWI gave up easily but I must confess that I never tried and there is a good moral argument for it to be allowed since we early birds have a right to catch the worm, not lose out because we are TOO keen. I'll let you know how I get on. Grant, you are in that group too, are you not? Peter S.

Now, isn't this an interesting contradiction? We make extensive attempts to evade the camera police yet with nothing more than an innocuous request, we actually accept printed rules and didn't persevere! Well done for Karsten! As an aside, no, I'm off topic. I'm sure Dunstable will appear in my backlog, so I'll post there. Peter S.

Sorry that I did not share with you all. Whilst the plan is not clear, the Lady said that Gold is limited to 100 tickets, so you cannot be too far away from the stage. PS. Grant - it is bring your own seat.

Grant, you are in that group too, are you not? Hello Peter and thank you for thinking of me! I have already upgraded my ticket. The lady on the phone was very helpful and arranged everything without question. I had actually been thinking whilst I was out this morning to see who else might be in the same position as us and post a reminder. Best wishes Grant

I had actually been thinking whilst I was out this morning to see who else might be in the same position as us and post a reminder. I was in the same situation as well, and had taken the website comments at face value. However, thanks to Karsten, I emailed ticketeast and they got back to me, enabling me to upgrade. I'm quite glad that the gold circle is limited to 100 tickets - I would guess that would be 5 rows deep at most. James
