Hi Grant Thank you - that would indeed be really helpful I should be on holidays in France by then but a picnic with my HWI friends seems a great excuse to come back to England. Even with the weather threat! I've never been to an outdoor concert yet so it would be nice to attend at least one. No one seems to be headlining the concert so it should be great to see a concert of both Hayley and All Angels. I would love to see them sing altogether! Lots of love Stephany

Hi Grant, so a chair will be probably suboptimal in respect of getting a place in the first row. Good to know - so there will be no need for a chair transport across the channel. To line up behind Dazza and Grant - I'll probably take a hired car to go from Stansted to the venue, so I could provide transport, too. (dependent on the size of the chairs and gazebos) Cheers, Karsten

Concerts at this park must have a great deal of history. I distinctly remember hearing about a very good one in 1984.....I think it may have involved singing animals or something as well - something about their high notes being lows......
That concert was really a bother As pigs sang and then dogs and then others They all sought great fame, so twas truly a shame That some were more equal than others !
Jon - making unintelligble puns since 1958

Hi Karsten I think most of the 'older' members will prefer to take a folding chair as sitting on the ground for many hours can prove to be quite uncomfortable! Don't worry if you decide you'd rather have a chair to sit on, I'm sure someone would be able to bring one for you rather than you have to bring your own. Best wishes Grant

Hi Roger and thank you for the confirmation. I might not be in Europe in July 2008 after all so I will try to resist to this one (unlike Grant ). There are still six months to go so I can still change my mind! Love Stephany

Hi Roger, many thanks for your sweeping blow in confirmations (Orwell Park, Belfast and Henley). So I'm on the way booking my flight. Hi Grant, great to hear that you'll be there, too. ( I couldn't imagine the opposite). Cheers, Karsten

Thanks for the confirmation, I am really looking forward to this event, Hayley and All Angels performing at the same concert, I can't wait! Any chance of a duet - that would be special! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Probably a thread that could be started - what song would you like them to perform together? I will be there of course, though I'll probably give Henley a miss the day before. James

Hi James,
Just seeing them performing at the same concert will be special, but a 'duet' would really be something worth looking forward to, we can always hope.
See you there!

Hi James, I don't know any more than you do but it seems like a fantastic opportunity and I would be very surprised if it didn't happen. Fingers crossed, eh? Roger

Hello, Blake will be appearing at this concert with Hayley and All Angels according to their official website. There seems to be a confusion with the venue, though. It says 'Ingatestone Hall, Ipswich' on the 13th of July 2008 with Hayley Westenra, All Angels and the 45 piece London Gala Orchestra. I thought it was Orwell Park? Stephany

Hello Stephany and everybody! I've found a thread about this concert on the ClassicalX Forum, which may or may not help. Richard
