Hi all, I'm just back safely. It was again a great concert - unfortunately I missed Hayley thinking she would be already up and away. Anyway, here's one in orange from the second part...- please no comparison with Steve's magnificent ones, I'm just trying. Bye for now - after 19 hours I've to sleep a little bit. Cheers, Karsten

Thanks Steve, Simply great !!!!! Thanks Karsten .....beautiful shot !!! Thanks Chrisw .......great shots from you too. Fascinates me that the different cameras "read" the colours differently. Karsten, what colour did your eyes read? Red or Orange?? This is one of Chris's shots. Obviously red according to my LCD monitor.Note the cello colour & the cellists hair too.....the stage lights appear to have a magenta hue.Graeme

Hi Grant and thank you very much for your very enjoyable report. I have the traditional bar of Green & Blacks, plus a note for Hayley (I had suspected that we wouldn’t get very long with Hayley tonight anyway and wanted to let her know how my 60th birthday fund raising efforts had gone) and gave them to Ray to pass on to Hayley. I see now that it was the best thing to do because at least she had the occasion to read your note before the concert (or during the interval perhaps?). If you hadn't pass it on to Ray, she wouldn't have been able to chat about it with you at the after-concert meeting. ...and she opened with one we haven’t heard for a while, “Let Me Lie” This one seems to be one of Hayley's favourites to perform in outdoor concerts. I added that the concert in Barrow was already sold out to which Hayley responded with “Where is Barrow?!!” Priceless! Thank you very much again for your lovely report, Grant. Many thanks as well to Chris, Steve H. and Karsten for their wonderful pictures. Lots of love x Stephany

Hi Everyone, Thanks for everybody who has posted the fantastic pictures and reports so far. It was a wonderful concert and Hayley was fantastic. A shame though that I missed Hayley at the end, I was with All Angels at the time and missed that Hayley had come out for a few moments. I didn't take many pictures of Hayley and some of those that I did take didn't come out as well as I would have liked. I did get a few though. Dazza

Hi all, I've just gone through the posts since Sunday in detail. Many thanks to Grant and Roger for their reports which leave nothing to be added. It's obviously unwise to break up with the HWI group too early in oder to be sure not to miss some special occasions. After a journey of eight hours I should have spent these few minutes with you, too. A little bit disappointing, but at any rate my fault. Lincoln would be the next opportunity to meet Hayley... - fingers crossed. Thank you, Drew, for posting the article. And last but not least, many thanks to the photographers Chris, Dazza and our expert Steve. To order my stuff temporarily, here's firstly the narrow road to the venue Grant already mentioned: And the Gate: Cheers, Karsten

Here are two shots of the sound check at 5 pm. Unfortunately I had forgotten my 800 mm lens . (The latter is taken with a 300 mm small picture equivalent.) Cheers, Karsten

Hi All, My own knowledge of Barrow came from a ship, "Otranto" which was built in 1925 in Barrow & also registered there. My mother, 3 brothers & sisters & myself emigrated to Australia on board this old ship in 1951. I was 10 so it was a great adventure. I added that the concert in Barrow was already sold out to which Hayley responded with “Where is Barrow?!!” Graeme pic from nixonfarm ebay

Karsten, what colour did your eyes read? Red or Orange?? Graeme Hi Graeme, What a difficult question. Unfortunately I didn't take raw-files, so I can't adjust the colour temperature. But you're completely right, the lighting turned into red. Here's an example without any adjustments (except resizement) and with the PS Elements 6 colour fault removal tool (I suppose the conductor's collar is neutral white.) So I (and my eyes) tend to say the dress is more orange than red, Caitlin refers to the colour in Buxton as coral, and - if memory serves me well - Hayley said orange, too, on occasion. Obviously we had to wait until she'll wear the frock under daylight or neutral light conditions. Cheers, Karsten

As always superb photos Steve and great report Grant ! That's whetted my appetite for next week's concert at Romsey which I assume will be broadly similar. Let's hope the weather is as good too. It's been more like March than July here lately. Feel sorry for people on holiday !

Hi everyone Thanks for the wonderful pics from all the photographers and thanks to Grant and Roger for your reports. A special moment indeed - when you were not expecting to see Hayley and she sent Ray out to find you before you left I know its been said before, but how many international stars would ....................... The venue looks stunning and the weather held out. I'm really looking forward to seeing Hayley AND All Angels, so I'm excited about the Broadlands concert in a couple of weeks time. Well done everyone on some supurb photos and reports. Best wishes Mark
