Girls to sing with their musical idolBy Anthony Dearie TWENTY girls from Jersey will join one of their idols on stage tonight. The Musical Originals choir have been given the opportunity to sing with Hayley Westenra when she performs at the Opera House this weekend. The choir, which is made up of Jersey girls aged between 12 and 16, met Hayley for the first time last night when they performed at a charity dinner at the new music academy at Chateau Vermont. The international superstar is in the Island to perform two concerts - tonight and tomorrow evenings - in aid of Jersey Side by Side. I know that this should be media thread but James and David have been far too quiet. www.thisisjersey.com:80/news/shownewsarticle.pl?ArticleID=102056

Hello everyone Well, these two concerts should be well and truly over by now and not a word yet from our intrepid travellers! You would have thought that they would have had the presence of mind to book into accommodation with internet facilities wouldn't you?!! Only joking guys. I'm sure you've had a great couple of days and we're all looking forward to reports and pictures. Lots of pictures!!Best wishes Grant
