I wish I could say it was me and Denise in those seats but it is my 12 hour Saturday/Sunday to work so again I am gutted not to be with you all. George I am sorry you and Denise can not make it again, but I look forward to catching up nearer Christmas at one of the Christmas concerts? Steve H

I have to confess to holding A25 and A26. I've not posted before, just pop in every few weeks to catch up on the latest. I hope you don't mind having me in the middle of you!
I've been to see Hayley twice before - in Different Voices and in Canterbury last year, where I was seated behind a pillar and ended up standing at the back, so you would really have to twist my arm to get me to move from the front row this time!!
Really looking forward to it, and to hopefully meeting you there.
All best wishes Michael

Hello Michael and welcome to the forum. Seems you already know what to expect if you've been 'looking in' occasionally! We really are a friendly bunch, especially when it comes to "All things Hayley"
I look forward to meeting you at Croydon in December and to reading your future posts.
Best wishes Grant

Hello everyone Something has been puzzling me about the seating layout for Hayley's concert and I think I've just cracked it! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifDave's theory that the front row of the raised stalls should be G is, I believe, correct. But then I couldn't see how the flat area between that row and the stage could accommodate 6 rows of seats. Ah!! The simple answer is, it can't. It appears that Fairfield Hall, like Venue Cymu has a modular set up. Look at the lower two pictures of the stage in Stephany's Post 18 HERE. Now compare that with the concert view HERE. The front part of the stage has been lowered (you can just make out the different floor colours in the second post) so I'm happy now that there will be a reasonable space between us and Hayley. But not too much of course! Best wishes Grant

Hello Michael, and welcome to the forum! I was only joking when I said you would have to join our forum to sit with us, but I'm delighted you took it seriously. I'm looking forward to meeting you at the Fairfield Halls, and I hope you will carry on posting. Grant, the front row should be a reasonable distance from Hayley. I was sitting in it the first time I saw her on 1st October 2003, when she was a guest with Aled Jones. I can still remember the exact spot where I met her in the upper foyer! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

How did you come to be a Nayley fan Huh? What's one of those? In Marks case, it was banged into him with a Nammer! Enough of this nonsense. Welcome to the forum Michael; I am delighted to hear you will be joining us in Croydon... because we're falling apart everywhere else, hence the need for the nayls! Roger

Thanks for all your kind welcomes. To answer your question, Mark, it was in the Autumn of 2004. I was working at home in the afternoons and used to put Classic FM TV on in the background, when I first saw this nice young lady in a beanie hat singing 'Who Painted the Moon Black?' I have to admit, the Hayley/Nayley slip was funny! It made me think of her in a little white van with writing on the side saying 'Nayley Westenra - toolbox supplies'. No offence meant. I hope everyone is having a good day. It's very grey and wet here in the Home Counties; maybe it will brighten up later. All best wishes Michael

Hi Thomas, My goodness, it appears as though my "spirit" is contagious. If this keeps up, Hayley may be looking out from the stage at a row of ghosts! Never to fear.....there are now so many "real" HWI people attending Hayley's performances that we spirits have nowhere to sit..... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest regards, Gene Hi Gene! That's true. As ghosts we wouldn't have to book a seat which makes the concert quite cheap. But on the other hand I would prefer to be there in person. It's a lot more fun. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif But I've got a ticket for Bath two weeks later ... Would be great to see you next year if you made it to the UK. Michael, welcome to the forum! You won't regret to have joined us. Especially not after being "westenwowed" again in the front row! Thomas
