Dear Steve, Thank you so much for posting the photograph of Charlotte with Hayley last weekend. We both really enjoyed the show and for Charlotte to meet Hayley was a dream come true and a moment she will treasure.
There's lots of info on this site, it really is great ,and Charlotte is going to be spending time looking through it.
How long will these 33 pages be available for?
I didn't know such groups existed before last week. You do a great job. Lovely to have met you all. Will be looking out for dates next year. Julia (on behalf of Charlotte)

How long will these 33 pages be available for? Hello Julia and Charlotte, If I may interject merely to answer that question, it is our intention that everything posted to this forum will remain available indefinitely. We never deliberately delete anything provided it complies with Proboards' Terms of Service. We have heard of posts mysteriously disappearing, probably caused by a bug, but it is extremely rare and has only happened to us on one occasion. The only difference you may notice to this particular thread is that, in a few days time, it may no longer be 33 pages. It could have reached 40 by then! Welcome to the forum and I hope you both enjoy being a part of it. Roger

...I can't imagine her somewhere like Wembley stadium (or even the arena) because to fill that you need a much heavier sound and it's more of an "event" where the music sometimes becomes almost secondary. The other problem as venues get larger is the acoustics where more amplification and mixing is needed and the naturalness of the sound gets lost. Hayley has such a pure (no pun intended) voice that suits smaller venues. That said, a stadium means 50 times the number of people can see her in one go! Hi James, what you say is true but of course, Hayley indoor concerts seem to attract roughly 500 to 1,000 people so a big concert hall or a stadium would be quite empty - and expensive for Hayley! As you say, Hayley's music certainly suits the smaller venues better though, and that's the way I like it too. Cheers, Dave

Hi julia & Charlotte A very warm welcome to our forum from me too. I didn't actually speak to you last Saturday ( I was more to the back of the queue) but I certainly noticed you were there Hayley loves children and as generally, there are not many children in her audiences, I'm sure she really appreciates seeing some younger faces . My own daughter, Sophie (age 13) has been so several Hayley concerts with me in the past. I'm sure you will both enjoy your time here and maybe we'll see you again at a Hayley concert sometime next year Best regards Mark

Once again my thanks to those who have posted reviews, photos and videos. It is a wonderful way of keeping up with what Hayley is doing for those who are unable to be at the concerts. I particularly enjoyed the videos. It is wonderful to be able to hear how Hayley's voice is maturing. Like a fine wine she is gaining smoothness, richness and complexity with age. Wonderful! What is the Fairfeild Hall like acoustically? It sounds rather echoey on the videos, but despite that the beauty of Hayley's voice still shines through. I must get to another Hayley concert soon. But she always gives this part of the country a miss. The only time she has been on my patch this year is to record the Songs if Praise at Rugby, without an audience of course. But I think I may have seen her there. If anyone with any influence is reading this, how about the Birmingham Symphony Hall with its fabulous acoustic, or Leicester's De Montfort Hall. Or anywhere in Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough, Peterborough, or Northampton.

Hi , Buxton is only about 35 miles (?) north of Derby, Hayley has a concert there on Saturday April 5th 2008. See concert thread. Could you make it there ? Graham

Hi Martindn,
Hayley has given a concert in the Birmingham Symphony Hall. It was on 12th November 2004 during the so-called 'Winter Tour'.
She also appeared with Il Divo three times during their tour in 2006 at the Birmingham NEC.
Hayley appeared at the Derngate in Northampton on two separate occasions; March 2004 during the Pure Tour, and November 2004 during the Winter Tour.
She tends to favour the smaller, more intimate venues but I am sure it is only a question of time before she appears in your area again.
Roger
