Richard, Thank you very much for your sweet comment! Drew, You have no idea how delighted Mary is going to be. She's going to see Blake again at Harrods on Thursday and seeing your video will definitely enhance her happiness! Thank you very, very much. It was a real delight to see this performance again. Richard, please don't ever change your avatar. It would absolutely kill Tinker Bell! To all: wonderful reports and fantastic photos. I love them all, particularly the front row picture. Don't be surprised if I somehow superimpose myself in one of those seats....with Hayley sitting next to me! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRegards, Gene

When I sat up in the gods at Shepherd's Bush I missed (seeing) Hayley's encore of "Sonny" as she was hidden behind a pillar. When I sat at the edge of the tent at Zonnebeke Chateau I missed (seeing) Hayley's encore of "Sonny" as she was hidden behind a stack of loud speakers. Not wishing to be outdone a third time at Fairfield Hall, I booked a seat in the front row where I guessed that the piano would be. There I was waiting for the encore, precisely in front of the piano, when out comes Al Gurr to sit where Hayley should be sitting. The encore was changed. Hayley says "Why don't we do this one": Both Sides NowA first for me, no complaints.

Sorry Stephany, no 'Danny Boy'. Can I have a small one anyway? Before the concert it was suggested that Hayley might be upset with a video camera 'in her face' from the front row, so it was my intention to save it just for the encore. During the interval I came up with a cunning plan and adjusted my dress to camouflage the camera. As mentioned before, I hid the red 'recording' light so that there would be no distraction. Not the best videos and no zooming in but a small memento of the occasion and I spent the whole evening watching Hayley in front of me rather than through a viewfinder.

Hi Gene and thank you for your very kind comment.
Tim, great 'auditorium' photo! Don't think I ever realised that the blue sweatshirts stood out so well.
Best wishes Grant

Thanks very much to everyone for all the reports, photographs and videos from this wonderful evening. Thanks especially for the unique picture from Tim of the HWI Invasion taking up the entire front row:
For those of you who don't know us, starting nearest the camera and working away we have:
Drew, Peter (postscript), Michael's mother, Michael, Mark, James, Libby (Elizabeth 768), Martin, Grant, Stephany, Gordon, Irene, Jimg, Steve H and David. In the second row, somewhere behind James and Libby (in the red shirt is me, Richard and Caitlin. behind us I think is Adam and almost obscured by me and Richard is Larry. Tim is out of shot because he took the picture! Mary is out of shot because she was in the side block but still in the front row, and Dave is out of shot by about 15 miles... but still made it in time for Hayley's first song.
It is nice to see a picture of Erica too. That is Erica with a "c", btw; not a "k". Stephany was right, Erica is really nice, very friendly and a huge help to HWI.

That is Erica with a "c", btw; not a "k". Stephany was right, Hi Roger You can probably blame me for the 'k' as I was convinced somebody had corrected me previously. Obviously another 'senior moment'. I will do better in future! Best wishes Grant

Sorry Stephany, no 'Danny Boy'. Can I have a small one anyway? You deserve more than one hug, Drew. I'm glad to hear that you could watch the concert without having to carry your camera this time. Very smart! Stephany xx
