Hi Roger, Although I had been expecting this, Hi, We are into March and still no news. It has not reappeared on Hayley's official site. Is it beginning to look a non starter ?? I am still confused. How can, almost to the same day, Bedlam confirm it, but it disappears from the official site. Then, some weeks later confirm it is not happening You have always put such 'great importance' on 'The Bedlam confirmation' but now is even this reliable Graham

Hi Roger,
Thanks for the confirmation, although I had already decided to go to the Classical Brits instead, it is a shame that this concert is not going ahead too.

Hi Roger and everyone Cancellation of this concert is disappointing news, but at least we now know where we stand after 5 months of waiting. Methinks there must be something else happening for Hayley around that time. Maybe we'll discover in time. Best wishes Grant Hi Grant The only other appointment that I am aware of near that time is that on 18th April Hayley is taking the couple that won the recent Classicfm celebrity auction out for dinner. Best Wishes Martin

The only reason I heard today that it will not go ahead is because I asked the question today. My previous enquiries were unanswered. Certainly we put great importance on 'Bedlam's confirmation'. Without that, nothing would ever be confirmed and HWI would never be able to give information which usually is very reliable. As in all businesses, things can go wrong and the consequences of not informing someone (HWI in this case) can be overlooked. All I can say is that such occasions are very very rare. Roger

Hi everyone It is rather disappointing that after all the waiting, this concert is now not going ahead. As you say Grant, it does make you wonder if Hayley has 'other plans' for something around that time. Still, as I will be seeing Hayley on the 29th March, 5th April and the 8th May - I think I can manage Best wishes Mark.

Hi! It's a shame that the concert is cancelled! But I'm going to Llandudno anyway. It will be a nice weekend although it would have been nicer with a concert. Thomas

Hi Stephany.
Your post 133, I'm sorry for you as the hall is a very pleasant auditorium and the venue has had much money spent on it--my time there last year was the first time the new restaurant had been made available.
Remember there is (is it? French and Saunders) on there on the other weekend night which i would recommend.
If the day is pleasant, there is much to occupy you. Llandudno as a town is pleasant to stroll round and the Great Orme is worth a visit--there are trams going to the top--magnificent views and there is a café up there. I think within a reasonable walking distance of a tram stop is the copper mine which you might find an interesting attraction/experience. I commented on this and provided some pictures on the previous Llandudno thread.
With good weather you will have a great weekend regardless.
Peter S.

Hello Peter, Stephany and Thomas! The Great Orme Tramway has its own website: www.greatormetramway.com/Note the trams are cable-hauled, as in San Francisco. Richard

Hi Richard and Peter! Thanks for the infos. The tram looks great and I think it would be a nice experience to take a tram ride. I enjoyed the tram ride in San Francisco and if this one works the same way it'll be quite cool. Thomas

Hi all! As some of you aready know Stephany and I visited Llandudno last weekend although the concert was cancelled. Nonetheless Llandudno is worth a visit. We didn't have good luck with the weather but fortuneately there was almost no rain. On the other hand there was almost no sun as well. But how cares. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif It was a great weekend. Here I have a few photos of Llandudno. Definitely a nice place for a visit. To be continued ... Thomas

Llandudno is a compact city and everything can be reached easily by walking. The Jenivore Hotel where we stayed is close to the Great Orme and I can recommend that hotel for another visit if there should be another concert planned in the future. From the hotel it was an app. 10-minutes-walk to the venue. I guess it takes a little longer when being hayleywowed. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe pierThe Great Orme in the backgroundThe promenadeTo be continued ... Thomas

Hi Thomas Thanks for your report and the photo's. Its somewhere that I have never been to - it does look worth a visit though despite the dull weather i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Anyway, did you and Stephany have a good time ? Looking forward to some more photo's. Best wishes Mark

Hi Mark! Thank you for your comment. Yes, we enjoyed Llandudno very much. The concert would have been a highlight of an already perfect weekend. It could have been here! Sigh! The Venue Cymru looks very modern. Inside the venue a table was placed where you could buy merchandise articles of the comedy group French & Saunders who performed Saturday night. It could have been as well a perfect location for a meet and greet with Hayley. Hayley even could have stayed over night. Her bed was already made. Thomas
