It mentioned that Hayley "flew all the way from New Zealand" to be there!!! Did she? I thought she had been in London, has she sneaked off back home while we weren't looking, or is that just journalistic licence? They're right. She left for New Zealand soon after her last concert in December for the holidays, and she stayed all the way through February. That's because she had a concert in Kerikeri at the end of Jan., and then she toured with Dave Dobbyn in Feb. Now she's back in London.

Hi Libby
The point Martin was making was that she did not fly back from New Zealand especially for the Bilbao concert, she was scheduled to return to London after the New Zealand concert tour at the end of February, which she did. She flew to Bilbao for 'Music of the Spheres' several days later.
Best wishes Grant

That's right Grant, because she even said she had a gig on Thursday, and she flew out on Monday. So she was obviously in London before this concert.

Thank you Dave for your contribution 44 on this. That's where our girl should rightly be. Thank heaven's there are still people other than ourselves who understand the value of music from a good singer even if some opera stars haven't the first notion!

Good news! KlassikAkzente.de has posted a video of the first part of the "Music of the Spheres" premiere in Bilbao. Hayley's part is near the end of the video. Stephany

This is strange! I get a few seconds of sound, then it stops but the video continues without sound.

Hi all! Here's the translation of the German text which is on the website of KlassikAkzente.de above the video that was posted by Stephany in post #50. I couldn't find an English expression for all German phrases but it should be fine like this. I hope that makes sence. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThomas

Hi everyone I'm not sure if this has been seen before, or indeed if this is the right place (perhaps it should on the Music of the Spheres album thread), but it may be of interest to some: www.flickr.com/photos/mikeoldfieldblog/2324704113/sizes/l/BTW - It's nothing to do with me, I just came across it while browsing.
