Hi All
Some of you may have met HWI member, Eugene from Ireland at one of the many concerts he has been to in the UK this year. Well, Eugene has been in touch with me today from Hong Kong where is away on a business trip. By chance his trip continues on in Tokyo where he hopes to see Hayley perform on Friday this week. Eugene has sent me a text message which he has asked me to post here.
Hi George, at the moment in Hong Kong on the way to Japan and I hope if my contact in productions has done his job, I should see Hayley on Friday in Tokyo Concert Hall. Do you know or want to ask any of the faithful if they want anything bought here and one of my guys will return to Ireland in one week and will gladly post anything to any of the gang when home at cost price + postage. So if they have any requests I will do my best to get a CD, poster, programme etc. I will do all possible to get anything they ask. Maybe we can say the first 10 people who reply with any requests. Please post this and see if many can be helped to get what I can for them.
If anyone is interested, please send me a PM and tomorrow evening I will be in touch with Eugene again. Eugene is a very genuine guy and I know he genuinely wants to do anything to help.
He will be in Dublin on 4th Dec and also in Southampton and Bath in the middle of December. So there is an opportunity to meet and probably a good time and an easy way to pay for any goods he has sent.
George

Hi George,
Thanks very much for posting the message from Eugene. And many thanks to Eugene for his kind offer.
If he is able to see Hayley in Tokyo, what I am sure we would all like is a scan of the programme together with any report that Eugene likes to make. It would be the first report we have ever received from one of our own members at a Japanese concert!
Have a great time, Eugene!
Sayonara! Roger

Hi George, I am so pleased for Eugene that his business trip coincided with Hayley's tour in Japan. What a thrill I personally don't need anything in particular but thank you very much to both of you for the very kind offer. Eugene is going to be our first ever HWI representant at a Japanese concert...this is a wonderful first! Hayley will surely be surprised and delighted to see one of us in Tokyo i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Well-done Eugene - I look forward to reading your report. Best wishes, Stephany

Hi George & Eugene George, first of all thanks for being the go-between Eugene, many thanks for your kind offer, as Roger says, if you can manage a scan of the programme and a report of the event - plus, perhaps the odd photo that would be fantastic. I look forward to meeting you certainly at Southampton and to hearing about your japanese adventure !. Best regards Mark

Anyway, it will be a nice surprise for Hayley to see HWI in Japan! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I really hope he can make it to the concert. Looking forward to see you in Bath, Eugene! More pictures of Hayley's 'Treasure' tour in Japan can be found HERE. There are three other pictures of Hayley in Japan on this same blog but they are all from 2006. Stephany

Hi eveybody. I managed to reach this forum thanks to amazing Stephany. (I thank you indeed, Stephany.)
I am writing from my home country: Japan and would like to tell about Hayley's live performance I experienced last week, in Nagoya, Japan.
It was the first time ever for me to see Hayley live on stage, and that happend in my home! !
I was stunned by her real, angel's voice and that was greater than somehow I expected. I enjoyed every single song she sang, for they were all my favourits. But personally, I enjoyed Hayley's 'you raise me up' and 'danny boy' (this song was in encore) performances the most.
I felt that Hayley can sing every song so beautifully because she puts a real emosion for the songs she performes. I have been her fan for a sometime, or so I believed, but on that day she enchanted me completely.
By the way, sorry that I have no photos to show here. (And please, forgive me if I was writing something other than English!)
Thanks for reading.

Hi Akito, Many thanks for posting your report of the concert in Nagoya. Even though this forum has existed for over four years, this is the first report of a Japanese concert we have ever received from one of our own members. Hayley always speaks very highly of Japan so I'm sure she will tour as often as she can in the future. Hopefully, you will get to see her again sometime. And you're right, Stephany IS amazing! Roger

Hi Akito, Thank you very much for your kind words and many thanks again for your superb review. On this forum we have a word to describe the incredible feeling that generates Hayley's angelic presence : we say that we are ' hayleywowed' or ' westenwowed'. I believe that you are still experiencing this amazing effect i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHayley always says how much she loves Japan and especially the warm Japanese audience. I trust that you all gave her a standing ovation - especially after 'You raise me up'? Best wishes, Stephany

Hi Atiko,
Thanks for your wonderful report.
If seeing Hayley perform live makes you feel how you describe then I am looking forward to seeing her perform live for the first time even more than I already was.
Let's hope that you can be the first of many Hayley fans from Japan on this forum.

Hi, everyone, Thanks a lot for all the kind welcomes and greetings! I am not good at taking photos or scanning books but here is my best try. This is from the programme book for the Hayley's concert I attended. As for her dressing, Belinda, Hayley wore black top and light green/blue skirt before the interval, and after that she reappered in a gorgeous green dress cloth that you mentioned.
