... having had a closer look. Skirt and top certainly look to be different colours. Maybe it was the lighting making it look pale blue, and the apparently white trim on the hem that threw me. Best wishes Grant Now, Now, Grant! A gentleman (like yourself) looking that closely at a lady's hemline! Little wonder you were 'thrown'! Paddy

The audience was delighted by Hayley's performance. "You Raise me up" was particularly well-received according to the blogger. He also says that he was struck by how rich Hayley's voice has become in two years (last time she toured Japan). Thank you, Stephany, for the pictures and the translation of the blog. Would be great to have some new HWI members from Japan. Thomas

Hi Thomas, I agree it would be nice to have some members from Japan. It is the one country where Hayley is popular from where nobody has ever joined the forum. At least someone in Japan knows of HWI because they have been looking at the main site today. Unfortunately, they only stayed there for 4 minutes but it's a start! Roger

Hi Roger, Couldn't an invitation be made on the Japanese Hayley site, in English, to that effect. That may start up the interplay.
Could only be good.

Hi everyone, I've read many reviews of Hayley's concerts in Fukuoka and Nagoya and they all say the same thing: she is a star performer and her angelic voice is more rich than ever. 'You raise me up' is particularly well-received at each performance. I wouldn't mind listening to it in the UK. Hayley? Stephany

I like the Japanese promo concert flyer - wouldn't mind one of those in my Hayley collection!! Hi Grant - how about this one? Hayley signed it for a fan in Yokohama. Love/Aroha, Stephany xxx

Interesting remark, Martin. I actually read the report of the Japanese fan who went to this concert and he was apparently quite embarrassed because he could only say a word or two in English. Of course, Hayley managed to reply with a few words of Japanese and the fan was totally over the moon And that Hayley is spelt with an "e"? Lots of love, Stephany xx

Couldn't an invitation be made on the Japanese Hayley site, in English, to that effect. Hi Graeme, If we had previously established contact with the team who run the Japanese site, that might have been a possibility. Unfortunately, we haven't. If we were to approach them *cold* to invite their visitors to look at HWI, it may look (from their point of view) as though we were trying to dominate the market, as it were. I am sure the majority of our members are aware of their site and so the converse is probably equally true. Hopefully, the day will come (possibly as a result of reading this thread!) when we are able to welcome some of Hayley's Japanese fans without sending out the press gang! Roger

Hi all, More pictures of Hayley's 'Treasure' tour in Japan can be found HERE. Hayley had a concert in Sapporo on the 6th. She briefly visited the city and was very surprised to see all the decoration for Christmas. "What, already!?" She also had a performance in Hiroshima on the 7th and she was once again well-received by an enchanted audience.
