A pleasure to read, thanks Richard. I always love finding new things out about Hayley, like the fact that she definitely wants to live in NZ in her later life.
Good to see Sophie following in her footsteps! It'll be great to see what she decides to do!

A very interesting article with a few new facts about Hayley. So, Marmite now takes over from Green & Black Chocolate as Hayley's favourite snack? I really can't see us taking jars of Marmite to a concert! Martin

Hi Martin Hayley has been a Marmite fan for as long as I can remember. I remember reading in the Toast New Zealand brochure back in July 2006 that one of her favourite snacks was marmite and avocado sandwiches. Seems now it's marmite and salmon! She refers to herself as "Chocolate loving Hayley" in the Aberglasney concert article (phew! back on topic! ) so I don't think we need to start taking jars of marmite just yet! Best wishes Grant

Hello everybody! Jon (milewalker) has posted Hayley's long interview on the Media board HERE. To keep this thread on topic, I suggest any further discussion about the interview should continue in the other thread, please. Richard

Thanks Drew, that is a good article. Right now, I'm watching Charlotte Church being interviewed by Jonathon Ross on TV. 6.30 am, of course, to the jetlagged Hayley, is mid afternoon, so she probably couldn't sleep. It will be tonight's performance, when it will feel to her like 4am, where she might be struggling. But I'm sure she will cope. She is an "owl" rather than a "lark" after all. Gosh, Charlotte is singing in Japanese! Where did she get that idea? I find that I adjust to jet lag at a rate of about an hour a day. Perhaps Hayley, being younger, can do better.

Hi all
Well,I'm back at my hotel and on my phone posting so have to keep it short. Met up with Eugene. What a fantastic concert, Hayley very tired but voice better than ever. Rain held off. Hayley sang A Thousand Winds and a totally new song _ first time live !
I will post full report tomorrow
Good night

Hi Mark Glad you had reasonable weather - it was showery up here this evening. Very jealous that you were the first to hear "Thousand Winds" live over here, also interested to hear what the 'new' song was. Hope the contingency plan worked. Looking forward to a full report. Best wishes Grant
