Hi Stephany, The short answer is yes. The pronunciations are identical but Graeme (the proper spelling) is the Scots way of spelling the name (my mum told me that) & Graham is English spelling. Phonetically would be grayum. Hence I refer to Gra7890 as the "other" Gra/ham/eme. Hayley automatically spells my name Graham unless I say "e" "m" "e" to her before she starts writing. In these 2 cases Marianne was asking for the signatures & I was busy with the camera so nobody thought of it. Grayum Hi Graeme, I am not so sure there is a 'correct way' i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMy Mum told me exactly the same as yours !! Nice to know Hayley will spell my name 'correctly' i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif . Have you mentioned to Hayley that another grayum exists Graham ( The proper spelling !) Graeme, you've started a big spelling competition! Graham, at least Hayley spells you name the way you do (ducks in case Graeme gets mad at that!) Cool bird! Oh, she knows how to spell my name...Look at this. She's even got 2 versions of her own.Greeme

uh oh. This reminds me of some other thread where there was lawts uv wrang spelin goin awwn In my opinion (IMO) there is no correct way of spelling any name, many people find Hayley spelt Hayley instead of Hailey or Haley incorrect but the truth is (IMO) that names can be spelt any way as long as the spelling for someting, take Lucinda because I believe no one here is named that, just has to be realistic, ie you can spell it Lewcinda or something like that but not Hnersnaef, because that is nothing like the COMMON (no correct!) spelling and completly unrecogniseable. Even KeriKeri could be spelt KariKari or KerryKerry and still be correct, just not normal AGREED, Graham

The pronunciation is identical. Funny, when I was living in Germany I was called "gramme" as in the mass unit by the Germans. Gra***

hi Gra***- thanks for saying I think like Shakespeare!
Gra***(the other one), at least you agree with me and Gra***(the first one) about it just being SPELLING not pronounciation, although I must admit pronounciation varies by each accent

Hi NL & Graham, Do you understand now why I was so keen on Hayley singing this lovely little song again? Not to mention the thrill of having just a few bars sung for me!! I think the song was written with Hayley's voice in mind......perfect. Graeme PS you'd better have this one too then. Pie Jesu, sung at the same concert in Feb. 2002. Another .wmv file About 6.7 Mb. www.mediafire.com/?kxybimjmgzj

I saved it, but when I click Open, it asks me for a password. How come everyone else seems to be able to see it without asking you for the password?

Hi Libby, Just use your file manager & go to where your file has downloaded to. Then just doubleclick on the file & it'll open to Windows Media Player. (or whatever player you've set up for .wmv files) Graeme
