So I think we can forgive Hayley for drinking from the bottle, I for one don't blame her one iota. Hi Comet I agree entirely! I don't know if anyone noticed, but at Bath Forum, there were actually three glasses of water close together on the same table. I also noticed one of the choir soloists take a drink from a glass Hayley had already drunk from. Maybe a jug and glass 'look' better, but we know how specific in her rider requests she is, in asking that items remain wrapped/sealed so she is sure they are fresh. The bottle of water is part of that. I'm sure Hayley would be far to polite to say anything, but my guess is, she would prefer NOT to have a glass of water. Best wishes Grant

Your post 195, Grant, yes I too had noticed that the two girls had drunk from the same glass and the same side! It concerned me greatly as Hayley then later sipped from it to the point that I wondered if and how I should broach it with her afterwards.
Unfortunately there was so much chat, so much going on and I wanted to grab the opportunity of getting her to autograph my copy of her autobiography, it went out of my head. It was that I was thinking of when I supported Comet's criticism of my earlier posting.
Oh Kiwis. Now I really understand how much you appreciate the friendly UK rivalry of who can post first when we have her over here--usually Dave or Roger. I wait in increasing excitement for when you have a chance to tell us more... and about the rest of the family as they were there. I have to leave now so it will be tomorrow for me at the earliest even if it is only later on today for you.

So I think we can forgive Hayley for drinking from the bottle, I for one don't blame her one iota. A water bottle is also better because if it tips over, it won't spill. There's electric stuff around, so that would seem a little dangerous to me. And if it rolls off, the fans would be getting splashed with water, instead of catching the water bottle! Thanks for the story so far. Looking forward to reading more soon!

Hi Belinda, Thank you very much, for your amazing, much detailed report from Kerikeri concert. (of part 1, it seems?). Cannot wait to read the following posts from you, but above all, now I cannot wait to catch my plane and go "down under", to NZ, in "a few days" time. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI am delighted to hear that Hayley sang 'Summer Fly" for this concert, or for you. I believe that the song also perfectly fits for the coming outdoor concerts. Akito By the way, I personally dislike the bottled water these days, since their production seems far greater than the actual needs and from the fact that not much amount of the used bottles are actually being recycled, in this world.

Thank you very much for the setlist and report, Belinda. I was particularly interested to see that Hayley performed 'Who painted the moon black ?'. You got 'Sonny' too i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifStephany

That is indeed another point, Libby (post 197), electrical safety and I will bet no one has actually thought through that angle. Peter S/

On an earlier post by Belinda showing the event list for the Centre in Kerikeri I noticed our very own Georgie Fame is appearing on 1st March.
For those who have never heard of him he was probaby the leading blues/jazz singer here in the UK during the sixties.
