Hi Roger and Grant, Got through at last!So we have D25 and D26 slightly to one side and four rows back, but thats fine, the quiet cameras will work fine from there! looking forward to seeing you all again  Steve H  |

I-10 was the closest central seat and she said that was about two thirds of the way back This one is now my ticket, Mark  I've booked!!The Shepherds Bush concert had a negative effect on me - now I want to go to as many concerts as possible whilst I'm in the UK !  Fortunately the ticket was not very expensive, it was £13 (student discount). I'm going to take the plane from Manchester to Southampton. Then I think I will go directly to Bath for the Christmas concert (that will mean 2 nights in Bath, Dec 14 & 15!) and finally go back to Manchester on the 15th. It will be easier and cheaper to do so rather than going back to Manchester between the two. Anyway, I will be there with you guys  Just a question though - do you know if there's an hotel nearby the concert hall? I found a list of nice B&B in the city centre but it looks a bit far away from the University! Stephany |

That's brilliant news Stephany!!
Now I shall have to bring two bars of chocolate!!I've booked in at a B&B about 10 minutes walk from the city centre for £30 but they don't have anything else available I'm sure we could meet up, find a bus or share a taxi or if we're very lucky one of the very very nice people driving down might even pick us up somewhere. Hi Mark, Based on what you were told, it sounds as though it is quite a small venue. If that's the case, it shouldn't matter too much where we are. Gordon will be going too, soI think that makes seven of us already! See you there!  Roger Managed to get my ticket as well, the lady at the box office didn't tell me the number but said there was a front row, or I could have the fifth row back - guess which I decided! Own up, who was on the phone at 10:00 stopping the rest of us from getting through straight away? How many of us does that make now, will there be any tickets left for non HWIers?! |

Hi Stephany Thats fantastic news - I'm so pleased that you will be able to make it to this concert. For you, this will be a total contrast to Shepherds Bush - you will see Hayley perform in front of what I would imagine to be a small audience in a more typical setting, with of course Hayley as the only main performer  Grant - hint taken i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Seriously though, Stephany, if the B&B you have found, Like Grant's is some way from the venue - I would be only too delighted to arrange to pick you both up on the way in - no problem at all. Thank you Grant&Mark! I'm also very excited about this concert - especially knowing that it will be a huge HWI gathering once again I look forward to seeing you all there. Thank you so much, Mark! I didn't book yet but it will certainly be near the Southampton train station. It shouldn't be too far! Warning - this concert is nearly sold out already!!!The only seats left at 4pm are in the side blocks the entire central block has gone. By only needing one seat, I got B25 (2nd row 3rd seat from the left aisle). Going.... going.... g...et a move on everyone!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

Hi Guys I don't how you managed it but I tried every 5 mins between 1000 and 1200 but couldn't get through. I was even threatened by a lady with a New York accent that she would put me through to the operator!  I even tried several times when out this afternoon but with no success. However, I did follow some members' advice yesterday and emailed the box office. When I got home I had an email waiting confirming that a ticket had been reserved for me. FANTASTIC. It didn't say where I was sitting but who cares? As long as I can see and hear Hayley I would even sit on the floor! Put me on the list Grant. Martin |
