Hi David, I also hope you can make it to this concert. What a thrill to see Hayley twice in a week Though I'm still not sure where is exactly 'Breda House'. Very best wishes, Stephany

Hi Stephany I believe Richard is correct that Breda House is in Scotland, in the town of Alford in Aberdeenshire. It's listed as a historic building and is run as a country house. Here's a little bit about its history... see here. Joe

Hi everyone, Wow, two concerts in Scotland within the space of a week!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Hope I can make it to this one as well... listening to the clip on the website I'm sure Hayley would have a fabulous time performing with them! As you say Richard it's definitely worth keeping an eye out on the concert listings section. Best wishes David Makes a change from her dashing up and down the country or even abroad in between times--or perhaps she is. Is it JUST possible she might treat herself to a few days of sight-seeing. Perhaps David or Andrew can spare the time to be a guide? Peter S.

Hello everybody! According to Hayley's official website, this concert has been put back to Saturday 31st May 2008. I've changed the date in the title of this thread, but I won't alter the schedule boards until we have confirmation from Bedlam Management. Richard

Very interesting. I wonder when the booking opens! I might like to stay up there for a week. Booking early I wonder how many rooms there are and if they could put up more than just the performers? Peter S.

The very thought occurred to me, Richard. Either that someone transposed the year--it does happen but usually around January 1st!--or, as I believe was implied in some literature I read, this is a new inittaive and they weren't as ready as they thought they would be for it. The month of May could be problematic if its a bad summer--can be chillier further up north. On the other hand it might be late enough to catch the rhodedendrons--very beautiful if so. Peter S.

Thanks for the information, Richard. If this event is confirmed for May 31, I'm definitely going It will be a great opportunity to visit Scotland. Edit: I just realized I have no idea how to get there from Manchester. Oh well, I still have time to think about that Best wishes, Stephany

If this is really Breda House, I don't see how I can get there by train I'll have to think about renting a car This is an intriguing venue, however absolutely beautiful.

Thanks for the info Richard, shame about the concert being pushed back till next year, however I'm sure I could spare a few days to show Hayley some more of bonnie Scotland! It's a beautiful looking place as you say Stephany. Have you ever driven in the UK before? Cheers David

Thanks for the link Joe So it was demolished and built again as a country house? Interesting... Stephany, that picture really shows how beautiful it looks, imagine the inside! And the landscape! The towering trees surrounding it! Cool Meldy
