Hi Grant Thanks for the last lot of photos. There are some really lovely Hayley shots I'm pleased that you got one of the vicar and his wife, they both seemed really nice people and supurb hosts. I must admit, seeing them with the "champagne set" blue stickers on amused me too - still rules are rules i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMark

Hello everyone! Here are the last two images from the Beverley concert and I've kept what I feel are the best until last as per usual. These two are priceless!!As I understand it, this chap's partner declined to take his photo with Hayley, I guess because she wasn't familiar with the camera. Anyway, our ever resourceful Hayley wasn't going to let the poor guy miss an opportunity and this is what she did!! The second picture shows Hayley with fingers crossed and looking at the guy's partner with a sort of "I hope that's worked" expression Bearing in mind that by this time it was getting on for 11 o'clock and Hayley had been up and down for pictures and signing CD's for the best part of an hour, she still had that one up her sleeve! (I hope those pictures have worked, but if they haven't and you just happen to look in on this thread, you are more than welcome to copies of the above images. Just get a message to me via the home page and I will Email them to you.) I am afraid that you have now seen everything worth posting, almost 40 images. Hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed taking them. Best wishes Grant

Hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed taking them. Best wishes Grant Have no fear of that Grant. When we look at your pics there is a fascinating *uniqueness* about them which makes us keep crying ...more....more. Maybe it has to do with your subject? Thanks again, Graeme

Thanks for the fabulous photographs, Grant! You really did save the best two until last. Hayley was being really thoughtful there, so I hope she told him to join HWI. He should have a great photograph for his avatar in his camera, or he could use one of yours! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

I'm not as good at storytelling or taking photos as Grant. This is the best photo I took all night. Unfortunately, it's of Mark and Grant.

Sorry this is a bit late, but for what it's worth, here's what I remember of the day. I don't have the attention for detail that Sargeant Majors Mark and Grant have. Journey: Got there by car. End of. Could only grab a seat in the 3rd row. I put down my 'Pure' CD sleeve to reserve the seat as I had bought that for Hayley to sign. Guess what? A couple took that seat and they tried to keep the sleeve. They thought it was being given out as a freebie! They did offer me the seat back, but I decided to take the seat behind them. That was a mistake as the woman had a big perm! Anyway, my previous Hayley show was at Shrewsbury Abbey where I met Karsten and George. I thought that was the best show so far by quite a distance. Until this one. Only one short, pallindrome needs to be used to describe how good it was...WOW! Her voice was amazing, the acoustics wonderful and she had a great rapport with the audience too. I won't go through the set as Grant and Mark have already done that. As Grant has already posted: ''Bill has brought her two CD’s he has made of Bob Dylan, one track of which was his version of “The Water Is Wide” Now that I would like to hear!'' . This came about because Hayley said at Grassington that she liked to sing 'sad, emotional, depressing songs.' I guess her fans already knew that! Who does 'sad, emotional, depressing songs' better than Dylan? I told Hayley that the CDs I did for her were partly for her entertainment, but also for her education. If she wanted to record these, she could, as Dylan lets anyone cover his songs. I don't think Mark has pointed out that he and I did a little improv for Hayley. She apologised for 'keeping you guys so late' (as if!). I replied that 'we Treasure every second we spend with you' and Mark managed to get 'May it Be' into his reply. Couldn't recall exactly what it was, probably because it was wittier than mine. It was my turn next and it would have gone along the lines of 'Us three have each travelled over 100 miles to see you. To get here has been a real adventure, a saga, a real Odyssey...'. But before that happened... ...the lights were turned down! . Either that was a sign from God or the Minster staff wanted to go home. Could have gone either way. That's pretty much it. All in all, not a bad day. The only downside was that more HWI members couldn't have been there. It was one of those shows you wish you could bottle, so you could enjoy it over and over again. Regards Bill

Hey Bill! Thanks for your comments. We use WOW quite a lot and if you put 'Hayley' in front of it and 'ed' at the end then you get "Hayleywowed" like everyone else!! Hayley was truly in top form at Beverley, both at the concert and afterwards. I got the impression she would have liked a bit more time with us, because she did say at one point that we should have been at the front of the queue! I did notice she was very appreciative of your gift of the Dylan CD's - there's quite a bit of Dylan stuff that she could have a lot of fun with - wonder what she would make of "The Times They Are A Changing"? All in all another amazing Hayley night. Best wishes Grant

Hi everyone, Thank you for the Beverley pictures. They're fantastic! Mark, please don't worry about the tie, you look great! Grant, I watched your picture of Hayley's boots closely but it's very confusing because they really look like the boots. I don't think they are, though! Bill, thank you so much for your excellent report. I look forward to reading more of your posts! Did you persuade Hayley to come back to Beverley next year? Seems like a place I'd like to go. Paddy I'm hoping the same thing, Paddy. Awhh France 22-9 England. Sorry folks! Stephany Does this mean that you might be tempted to wear your "Bleu" shirt with the cockerel on it at Shepherd's Bush? Not if I want to avoid being bashed by all the surrounding Kiwis Best wishes, Stephany

Hi Bill Thanks for your report. Your right, I didnt really mention that Hayley was a little short of time when it was our turn to meet her. Grant, Hayley looked directly at me when she teasingly (is that a word ?) said, maybe you would have been better off at the front of the queue i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif. She was in "top form" on the night, certainly in the mood for some friendly banter with "us guys" as only Hayley can - unforgetable Thanks also for the photo of Grant & myself. So sorry it was the only decent one to come out Still, thanks to Grant, we've got some great photos of what I can only describe as a fantastic evening. Heres to the next one. Best regards Mark
