This event has been confirmed by Bedlam Management but they are telling me it is for 10th August, not the 17th as appears on the official site. I will try to obtain absolute confirmation.

Thinking I may now go to Beverley rather than Shepherd's Bush (the No Cameras! is a real turn off for me) I rang the Minster a little while ago.
I am informed that tickets are not yet available but WILL be available from Tourist Information - Telephone No. 01482-867430.
Seems they are just as confused about the date as we are!
More info as I get it
Best wishes Grant

Oops! Sorry, the date has been confirmed by Bedlam Management as 17th. It appeared incorrectly on the schedule they sent through but they have now corrected it. I just forgot to mention it here!!! Roger

Hi! Anyone know where Beverley Minster is? Any airport near? I'd love to hear Hayley again. Thanks, Paddy Hi Paddy Beverley Minster is, not surprisingly, in Beverley! No I am not being flipant - just responding to your question! Beverley is in North East England just north of Hull and is not the easiest place in the world to get to. There are regional airports at Sheffield, Doncaster (Finningley) and Teesside. The nearest international airport is probably Manchester. If you can get a flight into Doncaster, I'm sure there will be a bus service into the town and you can then get a train from there to Hull but will have to change again to get to Beverley. An overnight stay would Also be necessary. If I haven't put you off, and I hope I haven't! the Minster is magnificent and can be seen from the motorway several miles away. Beverley was my third Hayley concert and holds some very special memories for me (see the "Memories of Meeting Hayley" thread) I had a front row seat and was only a few feet from Hayley as she performed. maybe see you there? Hi Grant, Thanks for the info. No. You haven't put me off at all. Having heard her for the first time 'live' in the NCH in Dublin on 13th June, Hayley is a 'must see' for me this summer or autumn. Strange , though, many of the places she is singing in the UK this year seem to be somewhat 'off the beaten track' and in churches. Beverley church does seem a lovely setting for Hayley's 'angelic 'voice. It seems to me the best way to get to Beverley is to rent a car. Any idea how far from any of the airports? Which is the handiest? Ryanair flies to Durham (Tees Valley) and Doncaster/Sheffield for 42 and 47 euro. I'd love to be there. All depends on how I'm fixed around 17th and, of course, on getting a ticket! And the weather! Thanks for the reply. I don't suppose you know anything about the accessibility of 'Breda House' in Scotland? Best Regards, Paddy

Hi Paddy
Doncaster (Finningley) airport is probably your best bet as it is only about 40 miles from Beverley via the M18/M62 and B1230.
It is a small town, with not much going on but the Minster is beautiful and there are plenty of bed & breakfast places if you decide to stay.
I'm assuming that, like last year, seating will be unreserved, so no panic to book tickets as it is quite a large venue.
Let me know if you need any more information.
Shrewsbury may also be an option for you? Not too far from Manchester and a much bigger town with a choice of two nights. Booking is already open for this one and it will sell out!
Best wishes Grant

Thanks Grant!
I found a map since my last post! I'd love the venue but I'm thinking that some of the other venues would be easier to get to. I think a church setting appeals to me most. Not sure yet but I'm determined to hear Hayley again before she disappears from the UK this year. 'Hope I can persuade my wife tocome too! Anyway, I hope to meet a very helpful man very soon. Thanks.
Regards, Paddy

Hi Folks!!
It looks like tickets for Beverley should be available soon as I was told by Nikki at the Tourist Information Office this morning that, "We have a poster and we've been told that the tickets are on the way"
Looks like ticketing for this one is going to be interesting. More when it is confirmed.
Incidentally, anyone planning to 'do' this one and stay overnight should be aware that the previous Wednesday & Thursday are "Ladies Race Days" and the town is very busy. Local accommodation is likely to be at a premium.
Best wishes Grant

Hello Richard and everyone!
The number given on Hayley's official site is not a new one but an additional one.
Both numbers belong to Beverley Tourist Information. To recap they are 01482-867430 and 01482-391672.
Tickets are not yet available for this concert.

AMBER ALERT The Beverley Minster web site HERE Then click 'News, Events and Service Times' and 'Events Diary' Is advising that tickets are now on sale for this concert. THIS IS NOT CORRECT!!
IT IS ALSO LIKELY THAT QUOTED TICKET PRICES ARE WRONG!! I have advised Beverley Minster of their error, and am in regular contact with the Tourist Information Office which, I understand, will be the only outlet for ticket sales. MORE AS I GET IT!
Best wishes Grant
