Thanks for the info, Karsten. You have no idea how tempted I am. Edit: after a quick check, I noticed that airplane tickets are already too expensive. *sigh* Not for this time! Hi Stephany, it’s a pity. Good luck for the next occasion Thank God I have Frankfurt-Hahn with its low-cost-carriers nearby. All the best, Karsten

Hello again, may I start an inquiry, who amongst the HWI members will come to Shrewsbury? By the way (and as a distinctive mark) - where can I get the the Westenra Tartan tie? Best wishes, Karsten

Hi Karsten,
Sadly, I don;t think there will be many members at Shrewsbury. It may only be you and Grant, and I'm not sure which of the two events he is going to. I hope you will be able to attend a concert in the London area one day. Then may of us will have the opportunity to meet you.
Enquiries about the tie should be made by PM to Andrew who designed the tartan. I'm sure he will be pleased to help you if he can.
Roger

May have my new Royal Blue HWI polo shirt by then. Best wishes Grant

Hi Roger,
thank you very much for your advice concerning the tie.
Presumably I will try to get a ticket for one of the Christmas concerts in December. So there will be an opportunity to meet perhaps next year.
All the best Karsten

Hi Grant,
slowly the happy anticipation grows - still 3 weeks and one day.
I will arrive on 2nd August, so I hope that nothing will interfere. I'll wear probably a blue tie, in any case however a dark-blue Jack Wolfskin Berkeley backpack (and eyeglasses). No doubt, I will spot you considering the photos you posted. We will meet at the latest in the church - if it should be possible and I will be there as the first, I'll try to reserve three seats on Friday and two on Saturday - hopefully in the first row - .
Look forward to seeing you there, too.
Best wishes Karsten

Best wishes, Stephany Hi Stephany, of course Andrew's message had a negative influence on my mental health so I've overlooked your message. My new SLR is checked and ready and my flight will go on Wednesday from Frankfurt-Hahn to Stansted. My B & B's on the journey seems to be dry and so I'm looking forward to my short trip - especially the the evenings of Friday and Saturday, of course. All the best - and thanks for co-counting Karsten

I wish everybody a great time at the concerts at Shrewsbury. Karsten, have a nice trip to the UK and back. Hayley is worth all the travelling. Does anyone of you attend both concerts, on Friday and Saturday? I would if I had the possibility to come over. But unfortuneately I can't come this weekend. I have to wait until Hayley's Kiwi Ceili at Shepherd's Bush. Have fun everybody! Thomas

Only 72 hours and five minutes to go!! Hi Karsten and Gordon
I hope to arrive at the Abbey around 2pm. Unfortumately the Abbey closes to the public at 4pm and I suspect Hayley will do her sound check in private after that time.
Suggest we all meet up at about 3pm and decide what to do then
Best wishes Grant
