Hi Graeme, Thank you for your kind words. i have to give my dear mother all the credit. because she wanted me to have an unusual name.. The name Geralynn is actually derived from St. Gerard, the Patron Saint of expectant mothers. Geralynn To keep this thread on topic, I have moved Peter's reply to a new thread on the Off-Topic board HERE. Richard

Like Steph said it should be on the Hour of Power website. Hi Joe and everyone, I emailed the "Hour of Power" website management and they told me it would air on May 20th. The video will be available online the same week. Stephany

Hi Geralynn! Welcome to the forum! I'm a bit late with my welcome but I came across this thread today. You're in best company here. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Everybody is "Hayleywowed". I was in the US last week but unfortuneately at the "wrong" coast. I was in New York and Hayley performed in California. You can't have it all. Thomas

I just saw a commercial for this Hour of Power and it mentioned special guest Hayley Westenra, on national television! Hopefully that could be a bit of a boost for Hayley.

Hi guys, I know the show was only supposed to air next Sunday and to be put online the week after, but I managed to get the video before. The Hour of Power website had already uploaded it and they are just waiting to put the link, but it wasn't very difficult to find. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAnyway, here are the links to see Hayley's FABULOUS rendition of "Abide With Me". The song is followed by a quick interview. You can easily tell that Hayley was very happy to be back in Crystal Cathedral. Did you notice how he pronounced "Celtic" when he named her latest album? Like "Selltic" and then she said it like "Keltic". Is there a particular difference?

Absolutely glorious. Well done Stephany, that was a cool bit of ferreting! I am no particular fan of Abide with Me as an album song, unlike several other HWI members who I know absolutely adore it. it is played everywhere so often that I tend to think "what? again???" so my next comment is probably quite meaningful. I have not yet examined the recording closely but if it was sung "live", that is without doubt the best rendition of "Abide With Me" that I have ever heard. It was a truly exceptional performance. Cheers, Dave

... and the Scottish Glasgow Celtic football team is pronounced like an "s" at the start. However, Hayley pronounced the first letter of her album title correctly... like a "K" as it relates to the Celtic race of people and their lands.
Cheers, Dave

Thanks for the answer, Toronado and Dave. We also pronounce "Celtic" with an "S" in French. Actually, I used to say "Seltic Woman" not so long ago. Dave, I agree with you, this must be one of her best performance of "Abide With Me". Although I also really like her a cappela version.

Hi Dori, Clicking directly on the links doesn't work - otherwise, it will redirect you on the "Hour of Power" website. You need to right click with your mouse on the link, and then choose "Save Target As" and put the file wherever you want it to be on your computer, and then open it. It should work! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi Stephany,
Thanks so much for posting pictures of Hayley from her Crystal Cathedral Performance. I consider myself very fortunate to have been there to see her rendition of "Abide With Me" . It was truly an experience I will never forget.
