Hi everyone ! I'm Thomas and I've just registered myself. After reading many posted messages I thought it might be a nice idea also to write something. Although I listen to Hayley's music since about Dec. 2004 I've unfortuneately never made it to one of her concerts until May this year. I saw Hayley in Oberhausen, Germany on her tour with Il Divo. The music of Il Divo has never interested me that much but actually Hayley was the reason why I went there. What I saw and heard has beaten all my expectations. Listening to her voice live is such a great experience you can't imagine when you only know the music from CD. After her concert me and my sister had the opportunity to meet Hayley and to talk to her a little which was the highlight of the whole evening, autograph and pictures included. I can't wait to see her on another show.

Hi Thomas and welcome to the forum.
I can imagine how much it meant to you to see Hayley in concert having waited for so long. She never ceases to amaze her audiences with her lovely voice and her delightful personality.
In time, I am sure Hayley will return to Germany so I hope you don't have to wait too long before you see her again. Meanwhile, I look forward to reading your future posts on this forum.
Best wishes from southern England!
Roger

Hello Thomas, and welcome to the Forum! I really enjoyed reading your first post, and as Tim has said, it would be great if you could post a picture. If you enjoyed Hayley with Il Divo, I hope you get the chance to see her in her own concert before too long, because then you will be truly amazed! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI look forward to reading all your future posts. Best Wishes from London, Richard

Hi Thomas (and your sister!).
Great to hear from you. I look forward to reading more posts from you or your sister. I am so glad to hear yet another 'in the mould' reaction about meeting with Hayley. It is so easy for us old stagers to womder if we are not so besotted we've lost our sense of perspective. When someone new comes on waxing lyrically about Hayley as we have all done in our own turn it helps to remind us she really is (and still is) that incredible.
Welcome indeed.
Peter

Hi again ! Thank you for all the answers to my first post. I didn't expect so many of you welcome me just within 2 days. I would like to post some of the pictures but they were taken with the camera of my mobile phone which unfortuneately wasn't the best idea I had. During the concert it was too dark for the camera. But I also took 3 pictures with Hayley when I met her after her concert. The one with Hayley and me has got a low quality unfortuneately but the other two with her and another fan and with her and my sister are "quite" good. I hope to take some better ones with my new camera when I visit to the Toast New Zealand in Regent's Park in July. If somebody explains me how it works I can post the pics here. It tried the browsers Safari, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer but none of them worked like they should. But I'll try a bit more. Can't be too difficult. But first I have to watch the footbal match England vs. Portugal. Good luck England !!

Hi ! So, now let's try to find out if everything have worked with the upload of my pictures. The first one is with Hayley and me, unfortuneately the resolution is quite bad. I try to take some better ones with my new camers the next time. Here's Hayley and me: The next one is with Hayley and another fan called Georg. He forgot his camera and asked me to take a photo with her and him: The last one is with Hayley and my sister Simone. This one I like best: I can't use the other pictures I took during the concert. It was just too dark for the mobile phone camera. But for my very first concert it was an amazing experience to meet Hayley anyway. Now let' hope that everthing have worked.

Hi Thomas and welcome.
You'll find out two things about Hayley. 1. You will never forget that first meeting. 2. It doesn't matter how many times you manage to meet her, each time is as thrilling as the first. Just being in her company makes you feel great, onstage or off. Peter

Hi Thomas.
I think quality of pic is forgiven if the pic is relevant. Like me, you are perhaps slightly inhibited by the oodles of talent the photo and other threads show, but these are people whose hobby is photography, rather than using the camera to take the odd picture or two. I probably fall in between the two extremes, having some good equipment which I acquired for a specific purpose and use in intense bouts for specific reasons and the general quick and easy 'snap the moment'.
I am delighted for them, those that manage to get Hayley on stage but (a) I am always concerned about disturbing my neighbors but (b) more relevantly, I'm the sort of person who totally absorbs himself in the show and can't bear any distraction.
So, don 't feel inhibited, share as much as you wish. I am astounded at the quality coming forth from minuscule equipment, such as the recently discussed Sony video camera and in my case, the latest little toy I am still playing with, the Sony (cigarette lighter size (almost)) audio recorder, the results of which I still have not had the chance to check out on decent hifi reproduction but the quality of which has been vouched for by people like Lothar who has been using one for years..
