Hi All,
I see comet was up early this morning!
I'm still beyond the clouds after our 'out of this world' experience last night! My daughter and my wife (whon I 'persuaded' to come with me) both enjoyed the concert too.
First, the concert, especially Hayley (wearing a green dress for Ireland during the first part), was brilliant. To complete comet's early morning report, the first encore song was 'Danny Boy'.
Then, Meeting Hayley in person (all too briefly as the NCH people were anxious to get home) was an absolute pleasure. Really such a lovely, thoughtful young lady, with a cheerful welcome for all.
Meeting comet and George and their ladies added to the enjoyment for me - if only to convince my family that others admired Hayley's singing as much as I.
To sum it all up for me ...... I'm looking at Hayley's Schedule ..... I'm sad that I can't make it to all her upcoming concerts! But the NCH Hayley concert will be the first of many for me ....
See some of you here and there and there again.
Paddy

Hi Martin and All,
Just me again, coming back from the 'River of Dreams'.
For the record, I think Hayley sang 13 songs (11 + 2).
Said she would sing for us again in Ireland. I really hope it's very soon.
Best Regards, Paddy

Hi Folks. Silly coincidence ? It was the 13th June , Hayley sang 13 songs, seat No 13 just in front of Hayley was empty, it was probably the only empty seat in the concert hall as it was completely sold out. You have been spoiled with great pictures from Grant, Steve, Stuart and Graeme. For various reasons like low lighting and low camera angle and just plain bad photography I will have to look through my photos to see which ones are even half decent enough too show. Some of them are just very colourful streaks of light and movement, maybe this was just Hayley's wonderful aura and serenity coming across as light movement. Then another batch of photos with more red eye then a jumbo full of drunks. YES I DID ONLY TOO BRIEFLY MEET HAYLEY. a FEW SECONDS, A COUPLE OF AUTOGRAPHS AND A PHOTO AND A QUICK JEST ABOUT THE WESTENRA TARTAN TIE. GEORGE WILL BE POSTING A PHOTO OF HAYLEY WITH THE GRINNING VILLAGE IDIOT ,, ME ! I also must catch up on a little work I have neglected over the last few days i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBUT .....I WILL BE BACK. comet

Hi All
I am sitting in Dublin airport waiting to return home. I have lots of photos to post tomorrow and an update on the concert then. I will be revealing the photo identity of Paul (Comet) a.k.a The Village Idiot (his own words!) Also for the ladies a couple of photos of the green dress! The second encore was Amazing Grace. The whole concert was wonderful. Fantastic with a full orchestra to back Hayley.
Until tomorrow
George

Hello again
To Comet George, Denise and all you envious people that I have yet to meet - Stephany, Jon, Mark ... ,
I'm sure comet and George have great photos to upload. Comet is only being modest about his photography skills! Sorry to disappoint but no photos from me this time.
My biggest 'let down' about the NCH concert? The sensor in my camera (supposed to be a good one) went 'on the blink' at my youngest daughter's 21st Birthday party on Sunday and finally gave up on Monday! No time to borrow a decent camera for without-flash photos.
Not to worry - my next concert will be very soon and I'll try to match Grant, Steve and Stuart ...

The most beautiful sound I've ever heard Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, and of all the beautiful sounds in the world In a single word, Maria, Maria, Maria,
You might think this belongs in the West Side Story thread You might also be right or not.
The first syllable I heard Hayley sing live was the Po in Pokarekare Ana, I was sitting about seven feet from her, to hear that first note live was far more incredible than I had anticipated and I had anticipated it for quite some time now.. No microphone Hayley has ever used has done her justice when compared with the sound that passes her lips..
The beauty of that sound at that distance was heavenly, to hear every note more purely than I have ever heard it on the CDs and DVDs was pure magic. When Hayley is singing live she is incredibly serene as if her spirit is elsewhere, more in touch with the music on some other level, To listen to thirteen songs at that distance was the most beautiful musical experience I have ever had. At times I became totally unaware of all those people behind and beside me and went to a place I've never been before... Musical Heaven !
I kid you not, I am very glad we booked those front row seats so long ago
Soft as the voice................

Ok girls. The last dress of the night on stage. It's full length, off the shoulders, Blue shoelace straps, lighter than silk, organza maybe. The colours are from the purple blue end of the rainbow and run diagonally across at about 40 degrees from horizontal in blended bands of five to six inches or 130 to 155mm. Yes I measured them.. It is as light as the breeze and floats about beautifully. The silver sandals with tiny diamonds and groups of fine straps about 5mm in diameter. These sandals also contained some very beautiful toes which were about three feet (915 mm) from my head.
But then again I may have imagined it all and will wake up and it will be Wednesday morning again and I can go to the concert all over again.......................
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
