Hi Grant, George, Gordon... Is it obligatory to have a name starting with G to attend this concert? I have never been to Stoke-on-Trent so I will be travelling up at around midday. I'll take a look around the area in the afternoon, checking into my hotel in Trinity Street any time after 4pm. If I have nothing better to do, I might pop into the concert in the evening! Otherwise, D14 will be empty. See you there, folks! Roger-with-a-G. The G is not only silent, it is also invisible! Don't worry Groger, we will simply alter your name a bit! I am OK for Stoke as my middle name is Geoffrey. Not a lot of people know that! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave Geoff

Hi All, I had a visit to Stoke last weekend, it is the nearest city to my house but im currently living in Leeds as i am a student. People were on about a possible pre show meal, there is Festival Park which has your chain restaurants like Pizza Hut, Arbuckles, McDonalds etc. but i am guessing people are looking for a bit better than that! Just down the road from the Victoria Hall is a restaraunt called Mingh's Oriental buffet, it has won many awards in the local area and is situated opposite the gorgeous Bethesda Chapel which featured on the tv series 'restoration' and is currently being restored. I dont know if this place will interest anyone? I am still looking through the local paper to find a link to a review of the place as it doesnt appear to have its own website, would this place interest people? i shall have another scout around next time i am up there, the Hall itself has a cafe but i dont know how good it is.

Hi Danny,
I don't want to shatter any illusions but on the rare occasions when we have managed a bite to eat, it usually is somewhere like MacDonalds!
Whatever others decide is fine by me. I look forward to seeing you there.
Thanks again, Roger

If you do end up in McDonalds then there is actually an outlet just a 2 minute walk from the Victoria Hall instead of getting a bus down to Festival Park, athough i am sure you shall find that out in your day exploring!

Thanks for the update Danny. Where we go rather depends on how much time we have and where we can suit most people. Getting together as a group is just as important as the food!! - To me anyway! When it gets nearer the time we'll look at what you've found and sort something out. Thanks again Danny Grant

I just thought i would let people know that if you havent bought your ticket for this concert yet but wish to go then you need to do so very soon! I was on the telephone to the venue earlier today and i was informed that tickets are selling very fast and it should be sold out very soon! It was also mentioned to me that the organiser of the concert has taken a block of tickets, so some tickets may be available closer to the time even if the event sells out if the organiser cant sell there tickets. Hope to see as many of you there as possible.

I was informed that tickets are selling very fast and it should be sold out very soon! I don't really know if Hayley is the only artist performing in Stoke-on-Trent but in any case it looks like she has no major trouble in selling concert tickets in the UK. Kudos to all Hayley fans based there!

So it looks as though we're going to have a "full house" for this one.
That's excellent news!
